So some Hollywood director, for some highly unknown reason, decides to make a movie based upon your life. He tells you that you are responsible to pick songs for the soundtrack. You should pick between 10 and 15 songs that you find most appropriate.

"Julie"-a song that was popular when I was a young child
"The Little Blue Man"-a song I loved as a small child
"Que Que Sera Sera"-another song I loved as a small child
"My Old Kentucky Home" because of my grandpa
"When Irish Eyes Are Smiling" because of my grandma
"Chains" because that used to be my favorite Beatles' song
"War", "Give Peace A Chance", and the "Fish" cheer (my favorite anti-Vietnam songs)
"Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers-because it reminds me of when I started to college
"Have You Ever Been Mellow?" by Olivia Newton-John, because it reminds me of my first spring break to Daytona.
just about anything by K.C. and the Sunshine Band; Edmund Fitzgerald son; "Get up and Boogie", and "Boogie Nights" because of my trip to Lauderdale in 1976
Many disco songs
To represent my high school years, this song:
Time it was
And what a time it was
It was a time of innocence,
A time of confidences
Long ago
It must be
I have a photograph
Preserve your memories
They're all that's left you
AND "Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end".
"American Pie" by Don McLean
"I Honestly Love You"
"Home To Myself" by Melissa Manchester
That's all I can think of.

I would get Zang to tell me the 10 worst songs in the history of the world and then include those. I would *hate* for people to go and see a film about my life and would try and sabotage the project in any way I could.

"Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"--Spin Doctors
"Sweet Baby James"--James Taylor
"Somebody"--Depeche Mode
"Both Hands"--Ani Difranco
"Love Shack"--The B52s
"The Fragile"--Nine Inch Nails

That's all I can think of right now. There would have to be some more 80s music on it, and I guess some more 90s music as well. And maybe there'd be a classical piece, like an aria from "Carmen" or something.

Me too. I think it's because it came out right around the time my parents got divorced, and that's what I thought the song was about. (I was only about 7).
