| dab | posted 4-Jun-2003 8:40pm Far more than 3 hours. Most of the day, in fact. |
| Steven | posted 4-Jun-2003 9:16pm Depends on whether I'm doing research or just getting e-mail, or scanning various news sites. I can spend up to 6 or 7 hours straight talking with a mainframe. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 4-Jun-2003 11:03pm It varies. If my roomie lets me use his computer, then probably at least 2 or more hours daily, but if it's the library, then I'm limited to an hour a day. |
| dora | posted 5-Jun-2003 12:41am I'm always online.I have adsl! and well...I'm not online when I'm sleeping, listening to music (unless is internet radio),out of the house (rare),studying, eating, pissing, crapting, walking, stroking the cats, bathing, masturbating, dressing, drinking, reading (unless I'm reading online!),writing, playing, singing, talking to someone who's not online either in real life or through the phone, watching tv,feeding the cats, brushing my teeth... every other moment I'm online. |
| southernyankee | posted 5-Jun-2003 1:19am now that i am on vacation, 2-3. i am not sure is that a healthy thing, then again neither is tv. |
| Dino | posted 5-Jun-2003 5:25am more than 3 hours. My work is Internet based so there's 8-hours. And then at home it can be 1 - 3 hours depending what's on TV or if there is stuff to do. |
| Maarten | posted 5-Jun-2003 6:40am >3 hours |
| ROCKMAN | posted 5-Jun-2003 8:12am 1-2 hours, an hour or so in the morning and maybe 30 to 45 minutes later at night. I have gotten on early in the mornin' on a rainy day and stayed on for 5 or 6 hours. |
| Enheduanna | posted 5-Jun-2003 10:09am Probably about 2 hours, maybe a little more. |
| Zang | posted 5-Jun-2003 10:17am Probably a minimum of two hours on average. Some days it's a lot more, but I can also go for a few days with none. |
| bill | posted 5-Jun-2003 12:09pm too much, I suppose. |
| Biggles | posted 5-Jun-2003 4:27pm My computer is connected all the time it's turned on. That's usually about 14 hours a day. |
| juliw | posted 5-Jun-2003 7:48pm It varies. Most weekdays, about an hour and a half, unless my sister is out for the evening (then it is 4 hours or more). Most weekend days, it is about 3 or 4 hours, unless my sister is off that day, in which case, it is much less. It is her computer, so when she is home, she pretty much dictates when I use it. |
| lion | posted 5-Jun-2003 11:51pm alot of the day. |
| lily333 | posted 6-Jun-2003 9:57am Usually about an hour or less. |
| mandy | posted 6-Jun-2003 3:06pm sporadic usage some days for hours and hours other days I don't go online at all other days just to check my email |
| msgman | posted 6-Jun-2003 3:53pm I work on the Internet. I have cable at home. I'm online all the time. Now that I've got broadband at home, the concept being "on" the Internet (as opposed to being not on it) no longer exists. If email comes in while I'm watching TV, then I know about it. If I'm using the computer for something els (such as a game, or composing music) and I need to check something on a website, then I just do it - I don't need to stop and think about connecting up first, or disconnecting afterwards. I have three computers at home, one of which never gets turned off, so there's always something connected to the Internet as long as the connection itself is working. |
| Richard47 | posted 6-Jun-2003 11:23pm All the time that I am "off-line" |
| btrswtbutterfly | posted 10-Jun-2003 6:01pm Almost all day because I have no life. |
| Richard47 | (reply to btrswtbutterfly) posted 11-Jun-2003 10:47am You should find a career in the computer field so your life WOULD be the Internet. |
| ElvisFan67 | (reply to dora) posted 25-Jun-2003 9:20pm I have DIRECTV service, and I thought many times about switching over to DirecWay DSL service offered through DIRECTV--but I can't afford it now. Maybe someday. |
| RGirl | posted 4-Feb-2006 12:20am Too much! I have no 'real' life! |
