I don't know, I've heard the term used though (here I think). I'm guessing that it isn't a type of berry though.

A farkleberry is a berry that grows on the farm of Fanny Farkle, and her brother Freddie Farkle. I think they also had a dog named Sparkle Farkle. I may be misremembering - Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In was on a LOOONG time ago.

A berry that appears to sparkle from a distance.

That's so funny! When I saw this survey in qual the first thing that came to mind was Laugh-In and the Farkle family and Sparkle Farkle. Actually Sparkle Farkle was the Farkle's daughter. * smile *

It sounds like a cartoon. Reminds me of Fraggle Rock in the 80s.

All I remember is the goofy southern accent they used and the huge fake freckles they all wore! Thanks for setting me straight. And now I suspect I'm not necessarily the oldest person here, even though I am somewhat older than dirt.

Is it red and has spikes on it! That's my guess. I reckon farleberry is going to be the new blackberry. Your going to see it everywhere. In juice, in pies, in vodka pop drinks. Its going to be a farkleberry invasion.

I'll be 40 soon. I'm trying to think of myself as already being 40 so I can get used to it - try it on and all.

Being 40 is definitely better than being 50...at least some days it feels like that.

Some days, as Indiana Jones said, it's not the years, honey, it's the mileage ;). Some days I feel a lot older (particularly when trying to keep up with the kids ;)!

Kate supplied a link too....In my dictionary: "An evergreen shrub or small tree (Vaccinium arboreum) of the heath family, with bell-shaped, white flowers and round, black berries, found in the South U.S." * smile *

One day, many moons ago, I was looking up a word and came across this and was like "Farkleberry!!??! hehe...wow really!!??"

It's when you think you only have to fart, and a little berry pops out.

Oh, that's a fartleberry, never mind.
