| Enheduanna | posted 9-Apr-2003 9:56am I haven't seen any yet today. It's early. |
| Dino | posted 9-Apr-2003 10:27am I guess I phase them out now. It would have been on the side of the bus stop. I think it was one for trainers with ventilation in the side. Climacontrol. Puma, I think or Addidas. |
| dab | posted 9-Apr-2003 10:48am I have no idea. I'm sure I've seen many, there are many on my screen as I type this, but I don't recall a single one. |

| Galomorro | posted 9-Apr-2003 7:35pm I don't remember 'cause I really pay very little or no attention to ads, no matter where they're coming from. I kinda block them out/ignore 'em, as they usually don't concern me nor my interests or lifestyle. Even if I ever see ads I think are clever or unusual or something (like maybe animals, like the Avlac duck on TV), I probably could not afford it or have no use for it. |
| CrazyAmerican | posted 9-Apr-2003 9:15pm I don't remember. We're so bombarded with ads everday that they're hard to even notice. |
| Biggles | posted 9-Apr-2003 9:21pm Probably whatever advert was on the front page of the Guardian today - I didn't pay much attention. |
| mandy | posted 9-Apr-2003 11:36pm CNN logo when my SO called me out to look at a statue of Saddam being raped and sodomized by the Iraqi people on telly. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 10-Apr-2003 12:24am Not including logos on boxes and appliances in my home, it was probably a car or phone ad during star-trek. Oh wait, it would be the billboard for the movie 'homeless to harvard' I saw from my porch. |
| teatree | posted 10-Apr-2003 1:36am It was on the tag of the teabag, a red rose. |
| kaleb777 | posted 12-Apr-2003 11:20am The first advertisement I saw was a billboard with a cop-car on it and under it was wriiten "Going drinking? Catch you later." |

| pandora | posted 24-Apr-2003 7:45pm I'm starting to get annoyed that everyday my answer is the same. Always the logo on a packet of Sweet 'n' Low. Grumble grumble. |
| autumnlight | posted 7-May-2003 9:26am I saw some adverts on TV this morning but I couldn't tell you what they were. |
| pandora | posted 7-May-2003 11:27am Oooh ooh ooooh!! We ran out of coffee last week, so my answer today is different! The first logo or advertisement I saw today was on a bottle of grapefruit juice!!! Wow, I must be easily entertained! |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 7-May-2003 5:00pm Look how happier you are when you start the day off with a healthier beverage. |
| pandora | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 7-May-2003 7:20pm Hey, you're right!! |
| mandy | posted 9-May-2003 1:09am Gatorade I was hungover |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to mandy) posted 9-May-2003 4:16am You're supposed to hug porcelain and do the gatorade and aspirin before you go to sleep, and thus avoid the hangover. The technique has the curious side-effect of accelerating the swimming sensation before you sleep though. So, a good party situation? |
| mandy | (reply to Kristal_Rose) posted 9-May-2003 1:03pm No, a bad emotional situation that I'm medicating with booze on a regular basis at this point. I actually did do the Gatorade at night but it was after midnight so it counted as the first thing I saw It wasn't a bad hangover, just an annoying little reminder headache and a queasy wave or two now and again. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to mandy) posted 9-May-2003 6:10pm I had a feeling that was the case. Unless the situation is in your face and unavoidable (and even then crisp faculties could help resolve things), you're just adding insult to injury. I've got a huge liquor cabinet, but I save it for parties. My thought is that life is too short for impaired activities. If I have 6 hours slated for fun, and I can appreciate art or discuss metaphysics as well inebriated then fine. I have a foster nephew visiting soon who wants to make sure I party. That means I have to add a liquor policy to the online, kitchen, and radio policies. At least now I know what to do with the half gallon jar of tequila I've been trying to get rid of. |
