Uh, Marilyn Monroe would be pretty decomposed, if not skeletal, by now. Not a pleasant dinner guest, I'd imagine.

Marilyn Monroe of course, I can't stand Manson.
Then again Monroe is dead so I'd be eating with a ghost.

marilyn monroe, probably because then i can stare at her breats the entire evening, and if possible, get her drunk. as far as manson, i have no use for him, as far as having anything to stare at purposes. thus, i'd pick her, just cause of that.

but he is very inteligent, and i would much rather talk to him than her. but besides, you dont really need to invite someone to your house to have a chat with them. i mean, there's email, and there's always chat rooms. so i am sure he'd understand. and i would much rather chat with him than monroe though. besides, if i wanted an intelligent conversation, i could just log on to sc. wait, i am allready here, heehee. but if i wanted something nice to look at, wait.. never mind.

then again, its not so hard to find any of that online either. heehee.

Life wouldn't be a let-down if I already prefer to have 'the inevitable other' come to dinner.
Marilyn Monroe probably looks pretty grotty around now, though Manson may not look much better.
If they were both in fine condition, for one evening, Manson would be the most interesting. Anything over 3 days though, and I think I'd prefer Monroes energy presence.

Well it would have to be Marilyn Manson since Marilyn Monroe is dead...and I can't say who I would prefer since I do not know Manson (tho not too crazy from what I have seen but just from that I still couldn't say if I would like or dislike him) nor did I know Monroe...but having someone over to dinner is a nice way to get to know someone.

I would like to hear about her perception on life and I believe that she was probably very intelligent but felt obliged to clip her own wings.

Marilyn Manson because he is my very favorite recording artist. I consider him one of the great minds of our time. His philosophies strike a true chord in me and resonate hard, not unlike deSade.
I love his mercurial image and the fact that a lot of the time he just acts like a real "man", a dirty sexy natural naughty rough boy. He says what I believe to be the truth about humans and existance. He is unafraid to offend. He does not pretend or try to censor what he believes because he fears others might disapprove. He has a platform and he is using it. I have deep admiration for him as an artist and a human.
When he speaks, I am mesmerized by his voice and how articulate and sensible he seems. He has a purity not found in politically correct and frightened mainstream society.
I wish I had his courage, candor and beauty.

I don't know which picture you're referring to. Did you see Gwyneth Paltrow at last year's Academy Awards, by chance? IMO her dress was hideous, but she's anything but fat. So I guess I don't get your line of reasoning.

I really don't think she killed herself. She got herself into a position with a leader who could not be seen as a weak man following his second head, and she was rubbed out. I believe Kennedy knew nothing of it. There's too many weird facts around the death. I doubt it would be written off as a suicide if she wasn't so close to the President.

She's actually just his type. He goes for actresses and or models/porn/fetish stars. He seems to be attracted to women who are...unreal...larger than life and seem almost caricaturish in their shape, looks etc. Ideal. Curvy. Womanly. I think she'd also be smart enough to keep up with his ever changing ideas of life and himself and humanity and art.

I haven't seen Bowling For Columbine yet but I really want to after hearing that Marilyn Manson is interviewed in the film. The Columbine shootings had a huge affect on him as an artist because so many tried to put the blame on his ideas and music, instead of focusing on the two troubled boys who committed this act. Marilyn Manson is so articulate and amazing. I cannot wait to hear what he has to say. His new CD comes out next month.

But I am sure you know how rumors are...as with Ozzy Osbourne the truth became mixed with lies...From his and his wives own mouth I heard them tell the story that during a meeting with a record company he did end up biting the head of a dove off (it wasn't planned he just did it)...but during his concerts he bit off 'plastic' bat heads and once someone thru a real bat on stage Ozzy thought it was one of theirs and bit it...he had to get rabies shots.

I don't know mandy cept from here but from her posts if she believed this to be true "I" would have to think (for can't speak for her) she wouldn't condone murder.
