| pterodactyl | posted 18-Mar-2003 10:09pm Uh, Marilyn Monroe would be pretty decomposed, if not skeletal, by now. Not a pleasant dinner guest, I'd imagine. |
| ROCKMAN | posted 18-Mar-2003 10:34pm Marilyn Monroe of course, I can't stand Manson. Then again Monroe is dead so I'd be eating with a ghost. |
| southernyankee | posted 19-Mar-2003 12:34am marilyn monroe, probably because then i can stare at her breats the entire evening, and if possible, get her drunk. as far as manson, i have no use for him, as far as having anything to stare at purposes. thus, i'd pick her, just cause of that. but he is very inteligent, and i would much rather talk to him than her. but besides, you dont really need to invite someone to your house to have a chat with them. i mean, there's email, and there's always chat rooms. so i am sure he'd understand. and i would much rather chat with him than monroe though. besides, if i wanted an intelligent conversation, i could just log on to sc. wait, i am allready here, heehee. but if i wanted something nice to look at, wait.. never mind. then again, its not so hard to find any of that online either. heehee. |
| Kristal_Rose | posted 19-Mar-2003 5:57am Life wouldn't be a let-down if I already prefer to have 'the inevitable other' come to dinner. Marilyn Monroe probably looks pretty grotty around now, though Manson may not look much better. If they were both in fine condition, for one evening, Manson would be the most interesting. Anything over 3 days though, and I think I'd prefer Monroes energy presence. |
| MssAmericat | posted 19-Mar-2003 6:25am Well it would have to be Marilyn Manson since Marilyn Monroe is dead...and I can't say who I would prefer since I do not know Manson (tho not too crazy from what I have seen but just from that I still couldn't say if I would like or dislike him) nor did I know Monroe...but having someone over to dinner is a nice way to get to know someone. |
| Maarten | posted 19-Mar-2003 7:06am Monroe, to ask whether she was killed or committed suicide. |
| Dino | posted 19-Mar-2003 7:14am I would like to hear about her perception on life and I believe that she was probably very intelligent but felt obliged to clip her own wings. I have no interest in having dinner with a second-rate drama student like Manson. |
| Biggles | posted 19-Mar-2003 9:57am The smell coming off Marilyn Monroe would put me off my food. |
| dora | posted 19-Mar-2003 10:02am Monroe.I guess (and heard that) Manson is a very intelligent, kind and sweet person, but I so much hate him in his public persona that I won't...nothing against satanic stuff and playing, but maybe not for his fault he sounds just contrived....I mean the antichrist...is not so outrageous, right? It just makes me laugh. The sad thing is that MANY people take him seriously. |
| Galomorro | posted 19-Mar-2003 10:46am Neither. |
| mrnemo15 | posted 19-Mar-2003 11:34am Marilyn Monroe because she was very attractive, and because I have no clue who Marilyn Manson is. |
| juliw | posted 19-Mar-2003 12:28pm Marilyn Manson, because Marilyn Monroe is dead. |
| sonikJ | posted 19-Mar-2003 8:45pm Neither, thanks. One is dead, the other looks dead. |
| mandy | posted 19-Mar-2003 9:52pm Marilyn Manson because he is my very favorite recording artist. I consider him one of the great minds of our time. His philosophies strike a true chord in me and resonate hard, not unlike deSade. I love his mercurial image and the fact that a lot of the time he just acts like a real "man", a dirty sexy natural naughty rough boy. He says what I believe to be the truth about humans and existance. He is unafraid to offend. He does not pretend or try to censor what he believes because he fears others might disapprove. He has a platform and he is using it. I have deep admiration for him as an artist and a human. When he speaks, I am mesmerized by his voice and how articulate and sensible he seems. He has a purity not found in politically correct and frightened mainstream society. I wish I had his courage, candor and beauty. |
| Cleo | posted 19-Mar-2003 11:52pm Hard to choose.....One IS dead & the other LOOKS dead. |

| kaleb777 | posted 20-Mar-2003 2:13pm Marilyn Manson - much more interesting and not fat or stupid like Monroe. |
| pandora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 3:14pm Marilyn Monroe was fat? News to me. |
| MssAmericat | posted 20-Mar-2003 3:25pm You took the words right outta my mouth ...makes me think if that's fat...I wanna be fat too!!! |
| dora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 3:25pm She wasn't stupid at all. Naive maybe,and neurotic,but not stupid. |
| pandora | (reply to MssAmericat) posted 20-Mar-2003 3:36pm |
| kaleb777 | posted 20-Mar-2003 3:55pm Have a look at her in that glittering gown. Oink! |
| kaleb777 | (reply to dora) posted 20-Mar-2003 3:58pm Naive/stupid. |
| dora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 4:01pm Well---naif/ve is more "innocent",than "dumb" it isn't? In french at least, maybe in english is used differently. |
| kaleb777 | (reply to dora) posted 20-Mar-2003 4:14pm Well not knowing her IQ, it's hard to tell if she was a moron or a bimbo. |
| pandora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 4:24pm I guess we have very different ideas of what constitutes a fat woman. |
| kaleb777 | posted 20-Mar-2003 4:27pm Fat meaning a dress looking bad on her, which that dress did. |
| pandora | posted 20-Mar-2003 4:30pm I don't know which picture you're referring to. Did you see Gwyneth Paltrow at last year's Academy Awards, by chance? IMO her dress was hideous, but she's anything but fat. So I guess I don't get your line of reasoning. |
| pandora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 4:30pm oops, that last comment was to you, sorry! |
| dora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 20-Mar-2003 5:25pm Her public persona was surely dumb blonde. But I actually believe she wasn't so stupid as she was made out to be.Which for me contributed to her suicide. |
| Oscar | posted 20-Mar-2003 8:01pm Marilyn Monroe. I think she's cool and I'd like to see, in person, a voluptuous woman that America thought was beautiful. |
| Kristal_Rose | (reply to dora) posted 20-Mar-2003 9:21pm In the movie 'insignificance', she had a dinner date with einstein and brought toys with her to demonstrate to him that she understood the theory of relativity. |
| wolfchik9 | posted 20-Mar-2003 10:06pm Marilyn Manson because... I would like to see such an odd-looking guy act like a perfectly normal person. I'd kind of like both at the same time but that wasn't an option. |
| Cleo | (reply to Maarten) posted 20-Mar-2003 10:37pm Oh! Okay! |
| kaleb777 | (reply to dora) posted 21-Mar-2003 3:11am I really don't think she killed herself. She got herself into a position with a leader who could not be seen as a weak man following his second head, and she was rubbed out. I believe Kennedy knew nothing of it. There's too many weird facts around the death. I doubt it would be written off as a suicide if she wasn't so close to the President. |
| Zang | posted 21-Mar-2003 6:11am Oh, that's easy! Marilyn Manson because he's alive. |
| dora | (reply to kaleb777) posted 21-Mar-2003 6:16am Hmm..I usually don't buy into conspiration theories, maybe is true, but I always think that when people to do that is because they are somehow disrespectful of suicidal people. But maybe in her case it's true,I don't know enough about it to say for sure. |
| kaleb777 | (reply to dora) posted 21-Mar-2003 3:19pm Yeah. It's a little strange. |
| nasale | posted 23-Mar-2003 1:44pm because one was very pathetic in life and the other, well, like I said..... |
| linny21 | posted 23-Mar-2003 3:59pm Monroe... |
| Iseult | posted 24-Mar-2003 9:12pm Manson, all the way. |
| Ellipsis | posted 1-Apr-2003 4:20pm they'd both be interesting, but probably monroe because well...its marilyn monroe come on. plus she'd have more interesting stories what with the jfk thing and all... |
| RaveDevil | posted 2-Apr-2003 6:06pm Nothing to say here. |
| mandy | posted 7-Apr-2003 2:08am I just got the new issue of Revolver with Marilyn Manson on the cover He is dreamy!!!!!!! *swoons* |
| maklea | posted 12-Apr-2003 10:14am wouldnt it be intresting to have the two of them have dinner together, you know if she were still alive |
| mandy | (reply to maklea) posted 13-Apr-2003 2:05am She's actually just his type. He goes for actresses and or models/porn/fetish stars. He seems to be attracted to women who are...unreal...larger than life and seem almost caricaturish in their shape, looks etc. Ideal. Curvy. Womanly. I think she'd also be smart enough to keep up with his ever changing ideas of life and himself and humanity and art. |
| mandy | posted 13-Apr-2003 2:09am I haven't seen Bowling For Columbine yet but I really want to after hearing that Marilyn Manson is interviewed in the film. The Columbine shootings had a huge affect on him as an artist because so many tried to put the blame on his ideas and music, instead of focusing on the two troubled boys who committed this act. Marilyn Manson is so articulate and amazing. I cannot wait to hear what he has to say. His new CD comes out next month. There is a super article in this month's Revolver Magazine with an interview by Marilyn Manson. AND PICTURES!!!!!!!! |
| anonymous | (reply to mandy) posted 14-Apr-2003 6:41am I heard a rumour that Marilyn Manson once sacrificed two babies in a devil worshipping act. True? |
| mandy | (reply to anonymous) posted 14-Apr-2003 10:20pm *laughs* uh sure...sure he did. He also had a rib removed so he can suck his own cock. *shakes her head* |
| MssAmericat | (reply to anonymous) posted 14-Apr-2003 10:54pm anon#1 I don't know if your question to Mandy was a joke or not, but glad to read it as a question But I am sure you know how rumors are...as with Ozzy Osbourne the truth became mixed with lies...From his and his wives own mouth I heard them tell the story that during a meeting with a record company he did end up biting the head of a dove off (it wasn't planned he just did it)...but during his concerts he bit off 'plastic' bat heads and once someone thru a real bat on stage Ozzy thought it was one of theirs and bit it...he had to get rabies shots. I don't know mandy cept from here but from her posts if she believed this to be true "I" would have to think (for can't speak for her) she wouldn't condone murder. |
