Just rewind. Rewind would be really handy to attach to your alarm clock's snooze button. Sleep as long as you want, and still be on time for work every day!

Rewind would be handy for instant replays of great sex too! * smile *

No... tempting as it might be, I'd much rather be present for my life and learn to deal with the consequences of things that I do

I'd use the instant replay feature all the time to catch things I missed.

If my life were TiVo!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many times have I dreamed of this. Unfortunately, Sue would not be permitted to touch my remote especially since the "Survivor Deletion Incident of 2003"

No. There are many parts of my life I'd like to forget completely and others that I'd like to stretch for as long as possible. But now I've learned to live with myself, I wouldn't want to screw around with it.

I took this question to literally mean a remote control, not a way to redo things. I didn't think about a rerecord button.

certain moments of a persons life are exquisit in its presence. Love could be truly cherished, and bad memories could be erased from time. We learn through our mistakes, but what if there was never any war. Thousands of families might still have their loved ones.

Oh, hell yes I dream of this. But then I get a philisophical and then say no. My life to date has been one long suckfest but then things are slowly improving - (a teeny bit) and who knows what kind of person its made me. Had my life gone perfect and I hadn't made the mistakes I did I may have turned into a two dimensional wanker. As it is thought I have painful thoughts about my life and thats the truth.

yeah, probably. i probably would over-realy on the rewind button. for one, to fix my previous mistakes, and two, to relive great moments. i would be however very touchy on using the fast forward button. even crap that i dont like to do, or are boring, i would still rather experience most of them rather than avoid them. as for bordom, i would rather live through it, that way at least i get my incoherant daydreams out of that, instead of nothing.

overall, as far as society is concerened, this would be a bad invention. people could use it as a bussiness time machine, or whatnot to make themselves near invincible. also, reliveing the same moments or similar ones to best get the best results could mean a much more boring life. then again, this could be like sliding doors and spice up our lives this way.

well, this would be a bad invention, but if it were around, i would certainly use it. i would be sure to take the full advantage of it.

There are a lot of moments in my life that I may not be proud of... There's also a lot of things I look back on and think "What if?" But I would say all in all i'm happy with my life right now so I would be scared that if I changed anything I wouldn't be where I am or who I am now.

Yes!!!! This would be a good invention. I would have 'paused' the birth of my son and my second wedding...those events always go by too fast. You really need more than a fleeting moment to grasp them entirely enough to really cherish them.
Cleo

If only............. But yeah! That would help.

I've had my share of bad times & also made SO many mistakes in my life that I would like to rewind them so I could delete or change those particular events.

There are even some times in my life that I would've liked to have lasted longer,so I'd pause those times.

As for fast forwarding?? NO fast forwarding for me. I'm on fast forward now. * frown * I'm almost at the end of "this persons" video.

Good survey. * yes *

I am certainly not putting this on here for sympathy or pity..... My 5 year old son past away suddenly and unexpectedly (due to medical negligence) in Sept. of 2000... so I would delete this in a heart beat if given the chance.

I think I just answered you in another survey.

Hi triplet,I'm Cleo. * smile * Nice to make your acquaintance. * shake *
My heart aches for you & my prayers go out to you & your loved ones. * frown *
((((((((HUGS)))))))))

The loss of a 5 year old child can not TRULY be felt unless one experiences it also.I have not experienced the loss of a son or daughter(only a 5 month miscarriage)& I hope I'm dead before I EVER have to feel that pain!
As you know.....I too have recently suffered the loss of a 5 year old (grandson) due to a rear end car collision on the coast highway,in Santa Barbara county California. The driver was driving with a suspended drivers license, because of previous DUI's.She is going to be charged with manslaughter. & probably only serve 3-5 years in jail. She & her passenger were playing a handheld video game while driving. > * frown * Life is so unfair!

I hope that in time I will feel again.

Email me if you'd like to talk about your son's passing.Okay? Here's my email addy: dabprovin@msn.com

Ohhhhhhh! Thank you Dora. * smile * I really appreciate your kind words of sympathy.

It's pretty devastating when it actually happens to you. One always thinks it's going to happen to someone else ....not you.Never in my whole life, did I EVER think that my husband & I would be planing funeral arrangements for one of our grand children. Thanks again
Aloha,

Donovan was my 31 year old daughters only son. * frown *

He had just turned 5 on December 22nd. Donovan & his 6 year old sister Kiley, were able to see & play in the snow for the first time in their lives on his 5th birthday.

They had recently moved from Honolulu, Hawaii on October 7th & were only here in California for 5 months. It was the first time that they had ever left the islands.
GOD!!!!!! I miss him so much.

absolutely, granted its fantasy but there are plenty of times where theres too much happening it would be nice to go back and get a better chance at responding to it all. then their is times you say something and it comes out soooo very wrong, oh the usefulness of such an invention is endless!!
not to mention if you knew then what you know now wow the world would be a different place

I would definatly use it, but It would only work if I was the only person that had one, if everyone had one things would get out of hand.
