No, but they sure do make for enjoyable movies, especially the more modern films. I like the films where there are disappearances in a modern city and modern vampires are club people -- stuff like that, maybe 'cause I've seen so many of the older films.

There are people who drink other people's blood, so if that's your definition of a vampire then they do exist. if you're talking about a supernatural being, then I seriously doubt it.

No. I believe there may be a disease where people can be allergic to sun. There may also be an iron deficiancy disease. There may be an allergic reaction to garlic.

Well, it depends on how picky you want to be over the definitio of "vampire". There are people who will suck your blood, though maybe not literally. There are mosquitos, those can suck you dry in minutes (especially here in Florida). There are those torts lawyers that get bushelloads of cases about people who have been abused by big companies simply to rip the victims off again. I could go on...

Weirdos who get their jollies pretending to be such? In droves.

Bad people who actually get by in life by parasitizing others and sucking their credit, bank accounts, and trust in humanity dry? Unfortunately, they exist, and really resemble the Hollywood vampire mystique in some unsettling ways.

No.Some people drink blood,and maybe also hate light.but they are not immortal so they don't qualify as vampires.They didn't even die yet! You must die before turning into a vampire.So nope,vampires don't exist as portrayed n mythology and novels (and movies of course!).
