I have a copy I borrowed from the Public Library. It's great for art study for me and since Mallory has such an interest in studying about autopsies and forensic pathology and cause of death lately, I thought it would be good to own a copy. |

One of my buddies has a copy. He got it in order to improve his drawing skills. He told me that there is all kinds of nasty stuff about the various parasites that live on our bodies and that after reading those bits, women didn't seem quite so sexy, for a while he kept thinking about it. That was enough for me. I didn't even crack the binding! |

No I do not own a copy of this. Nor am I motivated to get one. |

Never heard of it. |

Yeah, I've got a soft cover copy. Comes in useful for writing systems physiology essays. |

No, but now that I think about it I would like to. |

No, and I never have. |

I don't even know what it is. I assume that's the book about the anatomy of human body. |

What is Gray's Anatomy? |
| mandy | | posted 25-Feb-2003 8:19pm |
Gray's anatomy is a huge book, originally published in 1918 all about the anatomy of the human body. It has over a thousand engravings, lots in colour and covers all the systems in the human body. The Gray in question is Henry Gray.
It's brilliant!!!!!

I had a copy when I took A&P in high school. |

I don't own a copy. Gray's Anatomy always reminds me of college. There's a huge Physical Therapy department at the University of Puget Sound, and those students were always lugging around that book. I'm sure it improved their upper body strength if nothing else! |

No, but I'd like one. |

Never heard of it...in my little, sheltered world :) |

My closest friend goes to the Univ. of Puget Sound. Do you live near Tacoma? From what my friend has told me, it's not such a great place. How do you like it? |
SueBee | | posted 2-Mar-2003 11:07pm |
I live about 120 miles or so north of Tacoma. Tacoma stinks--literally--because of the pulp mills that cause the infamous Tacoma aroma. But UPS is a beautiful campus in the nicest old neighborhood in Tacoma. Mind you, I went there 20 years ago and I don't know if it's changed much. Does she like the school? |
| pandora | | (reply to SueBee) posted 3-Mar-2003 2:20am |
I think she enjoys it, especially how small of a school it is. She hasn't said too much about it really, but I know they specialize in some things she's really interested in pursuing. I'm meaning to get up there sometime and pay her a visit. Tacoma aroma, I love it! |

Whereabouts are you? Would it be a long trip? |
| MssAmericat | | posted 11-Mar-2003 2:20am |
No, I never thought about buying one. |

I'm in Kansas, but I can get very enthusiastic about road trips! We're thinking about maybe next spring break. Another close friend of mine is studying in Italy this year, and ohhhhhh, that's at the top of my list too, but since my little Jetta can't take me there, I don't think it's gonna happen. Wishin and hopin...:D |
SueBee | | posted 14-Mar-2003 4:07pm |
That road trip could be a lot of fun. Let's just hope gas prices start going back down soon! Italy would be a more exciting place to visit than Tacoma, but a bit more costly, for sure. |

maybe i would if i knew first what it was :) and if i needed it, doesn't sound too exciting! |
