I dislike pop-tarts immensely :) My mom-in-law (of a sort) was over this past weekend and brought us "Christmas Pop-Tarts". I was very afraid.

they don't appear to make my favorite flavor anymore, which doesn't matter because i can't eat pop tarts.

I marked "Cherry" but I don't mean the toaster pastry.

Strawberry frosted is my fave. I also like cherry, grape, and wild berry. I won't eat the non-fruit ones (cinnamon, chocolate, smores).

How I wish they would make a pumpkin flavored pop-tart...

I used to own a Cherry Pop-tart comic book, but the page got all sticky.

only if they left off any sort of frosting. Just imagine pork pop-tarts with vanilla frosting. Yikes.

Perhaps with BBQ sauce topping instead then...

I think that's perfect. Pork pop-tarts with BBQ frosting. We'll sell a million in Texas alone. I'll have to get the household staff hoping on it.

It use to be strawberry but they recently changed the filling so now it is none.

pork pop-tarts would be quite tasty...what about fajita pop-tarts...damn...ya know what...i just thought of something...hotpockets have already cornered the market on meat pop tarts...lol

doom: I kind of agree.. I don't like the new filling as much, but it is still my favorite..

jjg: don't you mean hopping?

they - I think the mighty pop-tart name-brand would prove worthy to carve out a new meat pastry market. Hot pockets are kind of squishy and gross, where a pop-tar seems firm and familiar.

you would have to spray the insides of the pop-tart with fat to keep the "porky-goodness" from seeping out through the crust.

reality: after I saw that I wrote "hoping" instead of "hopping" I decided that the household staff will be hoping that we sell a million or they won't get paid.

Again, the female 'they'. I hate the filling... I think pop tarts should have a 'just crust' flavor. I love to eat the edges.

My only real preference is frosted vs. not frosted. I used to eat the blueberry ones as a kid. Now I hardly eat any, but I suspect I'd prefer strawberry and raspberry. I can't imagine eating the crust or the filling without the other...Pop Tarts seem to be an all-encompassing experience. * smile *
