halogen reflected off the ceiling or walls is the best

I'm not too fussy about the type of lighting I use; as long as I can read it, I'm happy.

I prefer incandescent lighting. Fluorescents are too dim. Natural light hurts my eyes and gives me a headaches.

Roughly in order: Natural, flame, halogen, incandescent. After that, I don't really care.

I guess I have no real preference. I prefer bright, natural light for applying makeup. That's about as far as it goes for me.

definitely when reading, sex-sometimes, working on a project-yes, on the computer-naaa, personal hygiene(brushing teeth, hair, etc.)-a must...very bright, you get the idea

I really don't like the new car headlights. I find them overly bright and annoying. I like halogen lights instead of overhead lights...I find them less oppressive. I hate fluorescent lights, although some of the new compact ones are ok.

Actually, I prefer sunshine, but it's not available 24 hours a day!

The closer you can get to full spectrum lights (I think natural sunlight is best) the better it is. I hate sodium bulbs and flourescent lights for everything except for the most industrial of applications where you don't have to spend much time under them. Mercury vabor lamps are better for street lights than sodium because the color isn't so wonky.

I like natural lighting best of all.

Dim. I prefer dim lighting. I just don't care what the source is; I really, really don't.

I have a strong negative preference against the new car headlights. This one could have been ranked to good effect.

black lights? ew... an area that is lit with a black light is usually a purple(ish) fog to me. I hate the things... (not that it matters to you)

I also have a problem with black lights. My eyes start to burn after a little while under a black light; I suspect a sensitivity to UV, possibly due to the fact that I never go out in the sun without heavy dark glasses. (My last several pairs have been UV-blocking.) This was the only thing wrong with Blue Man Group for me, not that it would stop me from seeing them again.

That was a whole bunch of checks. It's so dependent on what the situation are.

I do NOT like the new car headlights. They hurt my eyes.
