What seat in the mini van would you prefer?

The situation: You are about to go somewhere with your friends. You and your friends are taking a mini van with six seats. You don't get to be the driver or a front seat passenger. Here's the layout of the minivan.

If you live in a country or region where the driver sits on the other side, simply switch the sides.

Biggles	posted 4-Dec-2002 5:01pm Well, it wouldn't really matter - but if I was first in, I'd go for the seat on the driver's side, at the back. But mostly because filling up from the back has been drilled into me.

Enheduanna	(reply to Biggles) posted 4-Dec-2002 5:28pm In most minivans I've been in, seats 2 and 4 aren't right up against the window, so it's a little harder to see out and there's also nothing to lean up against if you want to sleep! I guess seat 4 might be against a window in some minivans, but seat 2 never is.
southernyankee	posted 4-Dec-2002 5:51pm i'd like 2 because its in front (the middle) and i'd get to look at the stearing wheel and know how fast were're going and all that stuff. i dont know why, but thats important to me.

Zang	posted 4-Dec-2002 6:34pm Normally, I'd prefer the passenger seat, but if that option isn't available, I'd probably go with "seat 2". That seems to be the one closest to the door in all the mini vans I've seen, so I wouldn't have to climb around so much. It would also be the last one left after I let everyone else go ahead of me.
