Yes, I also know who the queens and jacks are:

Kings--
Spades: King David
Hearts: Charlemagne
Clubs: Alexander the Great
Diamonds: Julius Caesar

Queens--
Spades: Pallas
Hearts: Judith (book of Judith, an alternative book of the Bible)
Clubs: Argine (an anagram of Regina)
Diamonds: Rachel (from the Bible)

Jacks--
Spades: Hogier the Dane (one of Charlemagne's paladins)
Hearts: 'La Hire' (term for a French warrior) Clubs: Lancelot
Diamonds: Roland of France (or Hector of Troy)

No idea. I'll hazard some guesses: Charlemagne, Herod, Louis XVI, and George III.

I think that the premise of this question is incorrect. My understanding is that it's a fallacy that the cards were designed to represent any historical kings. Here's a link to a site with info about the history of the design of playing cards: http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/playing-cards/tmfaq/tmfaq.html
