| anoddoblivion | posted 20-Nov-2002 5:52pm Not really sure. Either Pacific, South or North Atlantic. My guess would be Northern Atlantic. |
| Iseult | posted 20-Nov-2002 6:04pm The North Atlantic Ocean? I thougth there was no such thing, it's Atlantic only. |
| Enheduanna | posted 20-Nov-2002 6:21pm North Atlantic. |
| dora | posted 20-Nov-2002 6:35pm South Atlantic I guess...the nearest sea is Mediterranean which is part of the Southern part of the Atlantic Ocean...but the Northern Atlantic,as a real ocean,is nearest than the Southern.Brittany is closer than Gibraltar...I guess...but maybe is not... Oh,damn, the nearest is the fudging Atlantic Ocean!! |

| Biggles | posted 20-Nov-2002 6:47pm *tries to picture world in her head* Not easy after having written over 2000 words of a really hard genetics essay then answering a series of extremely nasty genetics questions. I'm sooooo tired. Um, okay. The North Atlantic I suppose? |

| Zang | posted 21-Nov-2002 1:03pm That would be the Pacific Ocean. I could walk for about ten minutes, and be touching salt water. It wouldn't technically be the Pacific Ocean though. It would either be False Creek, which is actually an inlet, hence the name, or Burrard Inlet. Those are both connected to English Bay, which is connected to the Straight Of Georgia, which is connected to the Straight of Juan de Fuca, which is connected to the Pacific Ocean. If I had a boat, I could be on the Pacific Ocean in an hour or so... |
| Glassa | posted 21-Nov-2002 2:10pm Well, being smack dab in the middle of Missouri, I would probably say the Gulf of Mexico. Otherwise it's a tie between Atlantic, Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico. |
| kaleb777 | posted 21-Nov-2002 3:17pm The Pacific. |
| juliw | posted 21-Nov-2002 5:32pm The Atlantic Ocean. I didn't know there was more than one Atlantic Ocean. I live in Ohio, USA |

| lily333 | posted 23-Nov-2002 10:24am I guess I'm not sure. I live in Minnesota and it's just about in the middle of North America. |
| Jemmy | posted 24-Nov-2002 11:04am North Atlantic, I think. |
| Lex | posted 25-Nov-2002 9:44am test |
| wolfchik9 | posted 1-Dec-2002 8:09pm What is the dividing line between the North Atlantic and the South Atlantic? I'm one of those anti-geography people. I was hoping there was a choice for Atlantic Ocean. Darn! |
| sonikJ | posted 18-Dec-2002 10:30am Well, I'm not exactly sure. The closest large body of water to me is the Gulf of Mexico, so I guess the closest ocean would be the North Atlantic. |
