I'm intrigued by murders where it seems like someone had an interesting reason. |

Mass murder. What makes someone go up in a tower and shoot a bunch of people or drive their car into the side of a restaurant, get out and open fire? Are they nuts or is there a more complex explanation? |

YUCK! |
Wicksy | | posted 22-Oct-2002 6:29am |
none
All the books and documentaries on serial killers just adds fuel to perverted minds, which leads to more killings in the hope of publicity |

Most of them. Interesting though, rather than intriguing. |

It's strange how much a case like Jon-Benet Ramsey's fascinates me. It's not so much the did-they-do-it sensationalistic gossip rag kind of aura about it, but what it is at the core: who could have enough anger and such precision to pull of such a heinous crime? |

"Which kinds of lollipops do you find most interesting?" "Serial lollipops", "Spree lollipops", "Random sniper lollipops", "Racial lollipops", "Drive-by lollipops", ... is that better? |

ah, now we're talking |

Drive by lollipops?! |

Random killing, not neccesarily sniper. Wjilst I have every sympathy for the people of the US who are affected by this, I'm fascinated by how one person (or possibly a few) can put a whole country on tenterhooks. |

I think "Random sniper lollipops" is my favorite... |

I find murders that involve pop stars or cult leaders the most interesting. |

serial killing...truth is, truly, stranger than fiction sometimes... |

i would have to go with the "torturously long blow-job" |
romkey | | (reply to magbast) posted 22-Oct-2002 7:22pm |
oh, I'm sure you would! |

that random sniper killer case is rather interesting. Generally speaking, most murders resulting from fudgeed up people randomly killing for some phycological reaon is somewhat intreging. Hate crime can also sometimes be intreging, especially since I still can't figure out what the hell is the point of hating people.
And then there is your obious give me your walet or I'd shoot type, not intreging at all. The motives are pretty self explanatory there. |

I find alot of types of murders interesting.I like to learn about the people who commit them and try to figure out why. |

murder? lollipops? murder? lollipops?
dang..... |
| wolfchik9 | | posted 24-Oct-2002 5:14am |
All types, especially serial kilers, spree killers, snipers, and child crimes. My dad is a policeman so I've grown up around cop-talk. |

I don't like racial/group murders. They make me sick.Murder is pretty sick, but also interesting, group murder is only sick.I have no interest in it.Same thing for children. If are children killing children, then is again pretty interesting. In the group murder (many killers, not many victims)what makes me really sick is not the killing,is the group-think,and also murder with many victims it's not my style...I want one killer, one victim, killer planning, lots of guilt after, dostoevskijan style.
Murder IS interesting,I'm a humanist,I'm interested in humans and what they do,good or bad.I must admit I have taboos BTW,I can't bear hearing about people hurting or killing children or little kitties.Especially kitties.Obviously I value more children than kitties, but hearing about kitties is worse,on a gut level.

Murder does not intrigue me at all. I am glad they finally caught that sniper in the DC area. They should make him run through a minefield. |

*Alleged* sniper |

For some reason I find all sorts of murder intriguing. I have about 6 books on murder. That must make me quite morbid. |
| autumnlight | | (reply to confetti) posted 3-Nov-2002 4:52pm |
What happened about that case in the end? Was it the parents? |
| starrpickle |
when someone becomes a serial killer and methodically plans out murder so precis and if a rational person tries to figure it out they can't because its always an odd rationale of the killer that sometimes remains hidden intrigues me |
