| confetti | posted 21-Oct-2002 4:59pm I love Scott Guber from "Boston Public". He reminds me of my uncles: silent, well-mannered gentlemen with a great hidden passion. He would make a good friend. Claire from "Six Feet Under", because she's too cool for words. And..."Sesame Street"'s Elmo! That would make quite an interesting mix, don't you think? |

| anoddoblivion | posted 21-Oct-2002 7:45pm From any three TV shows? Man, this one's hard! McGyver would be handy to have around. Batman, yes. And Louie, from the Louie Anderson Show (the cartoon). He's just so cool, a lot like me. We'd make great friends I think. So I have: A repair man, a body guard, and an awesome buddy like myself. What else does one need? |

| Jemmy | (reply to juliw) posted 22-Oct-2002 4:15pm I thought about Laverne. The actress who played Rhoda is Valerie Harper, I think. I love the Mary Tyler Moore Show. I thought about picking a charcter from that one as well. |

| Biggles | posted 24-Oct-2002 7:44pm I don't kno, it's hard to choose. Intelligent people are few and far between on the tv - Lisa Simpson maybe, various characters from The West Wing...... |
| Biggles | (reply to Enheduanna) posted 24-Oct-2002 7:46pm Alive? If? WHAT???!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!!! I think I know more of what's going to happen in the next season to be shown here than I remember of what happened in all of the past series! |
| Biggles | (reply to Cain) posted 24-Oct-2002 7:49pm Lucas Buck was so cool. I loved where that show was headed right before it was cancelled - everything was put on its head and the sheriff was suddenly not all that evil, but just part of a greater plan, just like Merlyn (or was it Merle?) who wasn't all that good. |
| Enheduanna | (reply to Biggles) posted 24-Oct-2002 7:55pm Oh no!! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to post a spoiler! I always forget about that. Hey, I think someone mentioned talking to you on IM--do you use AIM or something compatible? Do you mind posting your username here? Or an e-mail address I can e-mail you at? I'd love to chat with you! (I understand if you aren't comfortable doing that--I don't like posting that kind of information about myself here, but thankfully not everyone has the same hang-ups I do!) |

| teatree | (reply to harekrishnadasa) posted 27-Oct-2002 11:31pm Yes I have. We have always remained friends even though we are divorced and I remarried. He's been very supportive, especially since I've had to undergo some medical treatment in the past few months. I wish I could say the same about husband #2. He bailed as soon as I started undergoing treatment again. So much for the part of the marriage vow that says "in sickness and in health." I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm still in love with my first husband. I think of him more as a supportive, good friend. |
