Have you ever dreamed that you died?

one time i dreamed i went over a cliff or mountainside in a black bronco. i woke up as the vehicle was falling and felt as though i was about to die. (knew i was). if i believe in parallel lives, then i think i did die. kinda hard to explain it. but ever since i have refused to ride in or drive a black bronco. LOL

Yes I have. I was very annoyed about the fact. But very pleased when I woke and realised it had only been a dream.

Yes, I want through a stage several years ago where I kept dreaming that I died in all these natural disasters. It was weird, I would be watching myself, like I was out of my body or something.

No. I had a dream that I was dressed up as Marie Antoinette and that Stanley Tucci was hitting on me, though...that was last night

You know, I'm pretty damned sure I have but I can't really remember now. All I remember is thinking how interesting it was that I'd dreamed my own death. I know I dreamed that I drowned once, but I didn't die, I just drowned. I don't think that counts.

I had that dream! I don't know the colour or make of the vehicle because I was inside it, but it could have been. Someone else was driving, and they were going really fast and reckless and going in circles a lot. Then we just went over a cliff.

Nope, and I've had lots of really strange dreams.

I had, it was a dream (read nightmare) i had about when I was about nine, that a bumble bee was conspiring againts me and it was planing on stingin me to death. It had followed me accross the land for over a thousand miles, I had barricaded myself in my house but it still got in thru under the door and it stung me as I succumbed to it. Then I died (read: woke up).

Yep, I was buried in trunk at the bottom of the SF bay near oakland, with a red flashing beacon, while I worked at some computer outfit inside a giant glass head, though I also had a strange view out of windows at sidewalk level, and my spirit disbursed through the cosmos as particles.
A few years later I finally had work as a programmer, lived in oakland in an apartment with those same windows in the laundry room, and became Kristal, leaving Thor almost entirely behind, the day I lost that last formal programming employment.
I've resurrected in recent weeks though.

Been there too, but didn't die, just kept falling, so didn't count it. My cousin was in the car too though, and he really did die.

I've always believed it to be impossible to dream this. I've never done it.

I don't remember. Quite a few years ago. I'm in Vancouver. I wasn't driving in that dream, but I did have a more recent dream where I drove a car into a river. It seems that all my driving dreams end in disaster. I'm never alone in the vehicle either.

In both, not actually in a car though, AIDS, OD, or brain aneurism. When he was 14 he ran away from with my 12 year bro and a couple other 12 year olds, doing 80 mph on windy sea cliff roads in the car stolen from his step-father. Amazing he didn't die then.

i'm pretty sure i have...if not i've suffered injuries that would have killed me if i hadn't eventually woke up =)

I never dreamed I died, I am thinking that if you die in a dream you really would be dean, or so I heard. That is why I have asked this question. I am surprised to see so many that said yes. Guess I am wrong!

I don't actually remember if I died in a dream but I have alot of bad dreams about my ex-boyfriend from 16 years ago that he is trying to kill me or I get back together with him and he won't let me go.Weird.

Yes, it's kind of funny now but it wasn't then. I was about 7 (in 2nd grade) and I dreamt that one of the 3rd grade teachers chased me with a knife and stabbed me in the back on the stairs at my grandma's house. She's really a nice person, which is why it's funny. I didn't ever have her as a teacher.

No but I dreamed that my best friend had died once and I called her the next day to see if she was OK.
I have to call her again today. I dreamed, just last night, that her mother told me that her husband (the same friend's husband) had had a heart attack and was not doing so well.

I was glad to wake up this morning...
In real life, he has had 2 heart attacks, a stroke and he's not even 50 yet!

not only have i died in dreams but i've had falling dreams and landed not to mention prognostic astral and controlled its all wierd to me

I was stabbed to death in a dream. I died and went to heaven, but I only remember the trip up. I saw streams flowing from cloud to cloud and cows wandering around on the clouds, in the streams.
