I probably should have worded it "Where do you plan on, if you haven't already done, doing your holiday shopping?" |

I resent the use of the past tense term....
actually, with any luck, I'll be skipping christmas this year.. YAY |

I'm all done and I did most of mine at individual stores (if you're ever in SFO's United terminal, check out bzinc.) and through catalogs. But this weekend I'm hoping to hit the craft fair (which is a popular option you missed) and get a head start on next year. Gloat, gloat, gloat. |

I haven't done my holiday shopping yet. |

I did some online shopping, but I'm still party of the touchy feely generation...I like to see and touch what I am buying before I buy it. |

Split between a couple of malls and a few individual stores. I don't generally use catalogs, and I never shop online. |

Everything was on line. I hate malls. Hate hate hate shopping :) I felt so happy when I got home from work each day and boxes were sitting on my doorstep :) |

I'm afraid this will be remembered as the year of the books....everyone is getting a stack of books. |

I hate malls with a passion. Now that the shopping is over I can really enjoy the holidays- Solstice Greetings! |

"Did"? "Last-minute"? There are nine days left 'til Christmas, I have barely started my shopping. |

most all of my holiday gifts were gifts to charity in various family and friend's names. i only shopped for nieces and nephews at a toy store..... |

Elijahblue: *holiday* shopping. Chanukah is half over already! I'm done, and mine are split between individual stores, online (almost all from Amazon.com) and even a few homemade this year. |
| elijahblue | | posted 16-Dec-1998 3:49pm |
gilly: so what? It still doesn't make sense that the past tense is assumed. |

Made some, bought some, did a bunch of research online, went to malls, stores, and used catalogues. As usual. :) And for several holidays. |

Happy Hanukah Gilly! |

Elijahblue: As much sense as assuming that everyone celebrates Christmas; that is to say, none. You're right. Sorry, I get over-sensitive at this time of year.
Bill: thanks! |
