Have you ever added a word to the Survey Central dictionary?

I just got asked if I wanted to add the word "schmality" to the dictionary. I was strangely tempted, so I was prompted to ask if any of you have been so inspired. Check any that apply.

This needed an Other option because some of us newbies may not be aware there is a Survey Central dictionary. I certainly didn't know there was one and don't even know how to access it!

I've added a lot of British spellings, plus some names that weren't there before.

I've added a bunch of correctly spelled words, some proper names, and some made-up words; I also accidentally added one incorrectly spelled word because I hit the wrong link. This was before there was an option to undo it.

Yes, I have added words that I misspelled or used just for fun just because I don't like getting that little message telling me to add the word to the dictionary.

Yes, I've added several words to the dictionary. I've added a few proper nouns and also a few correctly spelled words that weren't already in the dictionary.

Actually, nope. I'm never particularly certain that my spellings are correct so I hesitate to do it.

I've added an SC user's name, but I can't remember who it was.
I also added a real word, and also can't remember what it was. My memory for detail is really, really bad. *frown*

Yep, a few. Freikin' and Hoboken are two I remember.

If you didn't know that there was a dictionary, you have never added a word, so that would be no.

Whenever I type comments, if I have misspelled words or sometimes unusual or made up words I get a screen that says "There seem to be misspelled words in your comment, click the "lookup in Dictionary" links to look them up in the dictionary." There are two links. One links to Merriam-Webster to look up the word. The other link says "add to dictionary." Do you never spell anything wrong or have typos or for some reason does this screen not come up for you?

I opted not to check my spelling on my comments when I customized my page. I suppose that's why I don't get this and wasn't aware that others did.

Probably. I've put in a few proper English ones as opposed to American English.

This came up some time ago. Bill said that I've added more words than anyone else, at least at that time. I seem to add new words quite regularly. The SC dictionary is far from complete. Normally I only add "real" words. I remember one time someone commented that they used the word "absofudginglutely" and were surprised that the dictionary recognised it. That was because I put it in there! I think that's the only silly word that I've put in there.
