| Zang | posted 29-Aug-2002 3:55pm No, but I had a look at the website. May I offer my commiserations? That looks like a nasty affliction to have to live with. I recognised it as something I saw a while ago at work. There was a very thin woman. Her and her husband were very popular and sweet. She's really funny. Her rib cage is warped severely, and her whole body is kind of misshapen. |
| moonstone | posted 29-Aug-2002 4:01pm No. |
| mandy | posted 29-Aug-2002 4:08pm No, I enjoy it very much! |

| dora | posted 29-Aug-2002 4:31pm Yup.I look like the hunchback of Notre Dame...that coupled with my short height and myopia...now do you wonder why I do make surveys about freak shows? |
| mandy | (reply to bandit1cat) posted 29-Aug-2002 4:32pm The more you bother me with those types of requests...the longer I am going to be... |
| bandit1cat | (reply to mandy) posted 29-Aug-2002 4:43pm Forget it then. |

| confetti | posted 29-Aug-2002 7:26pm No, and I'm sorry about your illness. I know hardly anything about it, but I did read Judy Blume's "Deenie", which I loved |
| spidertea | posted 29-Aug-2002 7:53pm In about sixth grade we all got checked, and they said I had scoliosis. Thinking I was near death, I screamed, "Oh my god? What's that?" Then they said, "Oh, you have a slight curvature in your spine. Just carry your bookbag on your other shoulder." Never had any problems withit. |
| Dino | posted 30-Aug-2002 7:15am No, but people who do are obviously possessed by the devil and need to be burned at the stake. (Sorry I'm feeling medieval today!) |
| southernyankee | posted 30-Aug-2002 10:54am I got tested for it back in elementry school. It turned out "negative" (back then, I don't think they used the terms tested negative and positive), but my back is a little bit slanted I am not really sure. |
| Biggles | posted 30-Aug-2002 11:46am No, but my little brother does. Damn doctors. That reminds me, I really need to check those weird scars on his back again. |
| Maarten | posted 30-Aug-2002 1:14pm No. I 'suffer' from vitiligo. |
| Maarten | (reply to Maarten) posted 30-Aug-2002 1:15pm |
| mandy | (reply to Dino) posted 30-Aug-2002 1:18pm You are? Come over...we can play medieval games....wench! |
| dora | posted 30-Aug-2002 1:59pm Or in America/UK you don't have to carry loads of books at school,or...well if you do a similar survey here you get a lot of "yes I do" replies.I suffer from scoliosis,a mild form you can say,and so does the majority of people born between 1970 and 1985 I guess. |
| Biggles | (reply to dora) posted 30-Aug-2002 5:58pm In the UK we carry *loads* of books at school. Very few schools have lockers or anywhere else where you can store things |
| dora | (reply to Biggles) posted 30-Aug-2002 6:47pm Yes,it's the same here. |
| Dino | (reply to mandy) posted 30-Aug-2002 8:06pm We could try out some of them devices from the torture survey |
| herbalkate | posted 31-Aug-2002 12:07am This is one of the only things I don't have. |

| mandy | (reply to Dino) posted 31-Aug-2002 1:38pm We could take turns. Whoever screams the least, wins!!!!! |
| Jemmy | posted 1-Sep-2002 9:16pm Does anyone else? I'm sure there are other people. Not me, though. |
| red_30_uk | posted 2-Sep-2002 11:35am What is it? |
| Biggles | (reply to red_30_uk) posted 2-Sep-2002 8:36pm Curvature of the spine. |
| wolfchik9 | posted 18-Sep-2002 8:20pm No, but they thought I might when I was about 8 or so. They said one shoulder was higher than the other due to the curvature in my spine. Then, it wasn't? I dunno? |
| joachim | posted 3-Oct-2002 7:51pm Yes, a little. But I think I also suffer from spending too many hours staring at a computer screen, which also leads to a certain hunched-back posture. |
