No, but I had a look at the website. May I offer my commiserations? That looks like a nasty affliction to have to live with. I recognised it as something I saw a while ago at work. There was a very thin woman. Her and her husband were very popular and sweet. She's really funny. Her rib cage is warped severely, and her whole body is kind of misshapen.

No, and I'm sorry about your illness. I know hardly anything about it, but I did read Judy Blume's "Deenie", which I loved * smile *

In about sixth grade we all got checked, and they said I had scoliosis. Thinking I was near death, I screamed, "Oh my god? What's that?" Then they said, "Oh, you have a slight curvature in your spine. Just carry your bookbag on your other shoulder."
Never had any problems withit.

No, but people who do are obviously possessed by the devil and need to be burned at the stake.

(Sorry I'm feeling medieval today!)

I got tested for it back in elementry school. It turned out "negative" (back then, I don't think they used the terms tested negative and positive), but my back is a little bit slanted * frown * , and I don't completly trust those doctors.

I am not really sure.

No, but my little brother does. Damn doctors. That reminds me, I really need to check those weird scars on his back again.

Or in America/UK you don't have to carry loads of books at school,or...well if you do a similar survey here you get a lot of "yes I do" replies.I suffer from scoliosis,a mild form you can say,and so does the majority of people born between 1970 and 1985 I guess.

In the UK we carry *loads* of books at school. Very few schools have lockers or anywhere else where you can store things * wry smile *

Curvature of the spine.

No, but they thought I might when I was about 8 or so. They said one shoulder was higher than the other due to the curvature in my spine. Then, it wasn't? I dunno?

Yes, a little. But I think I also suffer from spending too many hours staring at a computer screen, which also leads to a certain hunched-back posture.
