I'm counting minor scraps and and body damage. I've hit things, been hit - but no one got hurt and I've always driven away.

Does hit and run count if they haven't caught you yet?

one accident. I was the passenger. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt. no injuries (other than the deer with a broken back).

I have been lucky enough to never have been in a car accident.

3 accidents. No one injured in any of them. 1 was my fault and the other 2 were the other drivers.

I have hit a car on my bicycle. Twice, actually; once, by accident, I caused about $300 damage to the car; the second time I hit the car on purpose, to make a point about right-of-way, but not hard enough to do any damage.

I was in the car when my mother had an accident when I was a child. I don't remember the details. I was driving my car when I hit some ice and went off the road last New Year's... no one was hurt, the car was really badly damaged, and the cop was really nice.

I have driven thousands of miles cross country, sometimes Boston-Missouri-Boston over a weekend. The only real accident I was in was coming Boston-Providence at 2am after a long work day, and I fell asleep at the wheel, ran into a parked semi and totalled the car. I had various injuries but lived ;)

My car accident story is really really odd. Here I go. I was on vacation, visiting some relatives in Ecuador. My grandma and cousin were visiting with me. My family members live in Quito, Ecuador. We had been there for a couple of weeks, when we decided to drive down to the beach, which takes, I think, about 3-4 hours. Keep in mind that the drive is basically going down a mountain. So we were driving, and it was getting kind of dark. All of a sudden, we round this curve and there's a big pile of dirt and rocks right in front of us. Why? you may ask. Well, I guess the road budget is pretty low there. There had just been a bunch of mudslides, and in there was a big washed out place, right in front of that pile of dirt. I guess you could say it was our "warning" not to continue. Well, we saw the pile too late, and my uncle had to swerve sharply to the left so we wouldn't hit it. In the action of doing that, we flipped the rental van onto its side. It was so so so so scary, that I can't even describe it. Everything was flying around inside the vehicle. The scariest part was that my 8 year old cousin had just been sticking her head far out the window, and we ALL thought she was crushed under the side, but luckily she was okay. So we were all jumbled about in the car, checking each other to make sure we were okay, and then these policemen come up. I was like, wow, speedy delivery, but actually they were driving right behind us when the wreck happened. Then the police, and some men from a fish truck pulled us out the windows. It was horrible. I threw up on my aunt after we got out. And my uncle lost his shoes when we flipped. The rest of the ride to the beach was quite intense for us all. I only got a bump on the knees and elbow, and luckily that was the only injury. It was ironic because the very day, before we started our trip, we stopped at a church that's called something like "Our Lady of the Holy Water". There were paintings about all kinds of disasters avoided because of her Holy Water. Everyone touched the water, except me, and I was the only one hurt, at all. I shudder to think of it, because if he had swerved right, we would all be dead, without a doubt, because to the left was a about a 150 ft. drop, straight down. No guard rails at all. Oh, and it was Friday the 13th. Creepy.

I have been in a bunch of accidents, as a driver, a passenger, and a cyclist. There has been a variety of damage to people and property.

Whoops, I forgot about the time that rescue personnel were needed (even though I didn't mark any of the injury choices). I'm not going to tell the Massacree now because it's too long and I don't have a guitar handy, but to summarize, when a police car carrying a prisoner is involved in a car accident, the prisoner must be taken in an ambulance to a hospital to be examined, hurt or not, to establish the extent or lack of his injuries for the courts.

Mine was many years ago when I was in college & he was driving on the wrong side of the street. It was relatively minor & I have been overly cautious ever since without another accident.

Only three accidents (that I recall), and I was a passenger in all of them. Nobody was hurt, and everyone drove away afterward.
I did run into a fence on my bicycle once, and caused damage, but that's not a car accident. :)

I checked both "legally my fault" and "legally not my fault", as there were two. As a youngster, I was a passenger when my school bus (which was actually a van) ran a stop sign and got plowed into by a pickup truck. Ow, ow, ow. More recently, I slid in a turn and smacked the curb, doing lots and lots of expensive damage to Tom's car. (He was very, very good about it.)

I was in a fairly bad accident when I was three, and a minor school bus accident sometime in grade school. I was also in a minor accident where the car I was driving spun off the road in a rainstorm. I was totally unhurt and the car looked like it was fine except for having a bunch of grass embedded in the bumper and grill. Later I found out it was several thousand bucks away from fine * frown *

The police were already there. I was broadsided by a cruiser.

Several. I have also been the cyclist that hit the car, which was the only accident in which I have been injured. The car made a U-turn and cut me off as I was going down a steep hill at 30 mph - I could not avoid hitting it (with the expected result of flying over the car and landing on my face). Ouch.

Recently as a matter of fact. I drive a Saturn station wagon and a 3/4 ton Dodge truck (military vehicle) came into my lane. I knew it was going to happen and accelerated so I only lost the bumper. When we pulled over, the other driver got of the truck and said 'wow, I'm really not awake' that's when I noticed she was wearing pajamas, slippers, and a coat.

I've been in three accidents. Never with another car. I only do dangerous driving tricks when I'm alone in the car, and alone on the higway.

Two accidents I've been in. One was where my mother was driving us to church on Christmas eve and we were side-swiped by a drunk driver. (No personal injuries thankfully in our car other than shaken nerves, however, there was damage to the car.) The other time was while driving to classes at 8am in the family car, I rear ended a stopped Ford festiva. The ford sustained only a cracked tail light costing $50 to replaced. However, the family car (a toyota corrolla), was completely totalled. Lets just say my mom wasn't happy with the incident.

I've been in several accidents. Only one serious one as a driver though. Ended up totaling my 11 month old pickup truck. I also needed to convince one of my housemates to come and pick me up at the emergency room (Hi Tim). The experience of being taped down to a backboard for several hours in a busy emergency room, not able to see what was going on around me (including keeping an eye on the guy next curtain over who was DT'ing) was one of the worst of my life.

on both accounts, once while i was the driver...once while i was not the driver, i not at fault. In one accident my back was ruined forever at the ripe old age of 23...that sucked!!
