I was right! |
Biggles | | posted 31-Aug-2002 2:57pm |
Anklets are worn around the ankle, not on the foot....... |
Biggles | | (reply to Locutus) posted 31-Aug-2002 2:59pm |
How old are you? I always thought you were quite old, but advanced stats suggest you're my age...... |
Biggles | | (reply to Locutus) posted 31-Aug-2002 3:00pm |
Wait, just ignore what I just said. I was being very, very, very, very stupid..... |
| confetti | | posted 31-Aug-2002 3:02pm |
The left foot, but anklets shouldn't really be worn unless you're an eleven-year-old little girl on vacation with her parents in the Caribbean. |
Zang | | posted 31-Aug-2002 3:56pm |
My understanding is that jewelry is intended to draw the viewer's attention to your assets. Therefore, one should always wear their anklet on their prettiest ankle. |
| mandy | | posted 31-Aug-2002 4:20pm |
Both For restraining purposes anyway...... |
| Iseult | | posted 31-Aug-2002 5:21pm |
I don't know, what's the difference? Is there any fashion ettiquette on which hand should bracelet be worn? |
| Iseult | | (reply to Biggles) posted 31-Aug-2002 5:22pm |
That a good point. |
| anoddoblivion | | posted 31-Aug-2002 8:05pm |
Anklets as in sock or bracelets? I wished the survey creator would have specefied this (as asked to in qual) so that I didn't have to answer 'other'. |
| dora | | posted 31-Aug-2002 8:24pm |
Wherever you want to wear them!
|
| Jemmy | | posted 31-Aug-2002 9:15pm |
Whichever is most comfortable. |
| darkshadowsseeker | | posted 31-Aug-2002 9:46pm |
I generally wear socks on BOTH feet! |
| kirst | | posted 31-Aug-2002 9:49pm |
Either ankle is fine... |
| spidertea | | posted 31-Aug-2002 10:36pm |
Whichever you prefer. |
| spidertea | | (reply to Zang) posted 31-Aug-2002 10:37pm |
But both of my ankles are pretty! |
| moonstone | | posted 31-Aug-2002 10:40pm |
I don't know, but I wear mine on my right ankle. |
| teatree | | posted 31-Aug-2002 10:58pm |
When I wear anklets I wear them on both feet. How do you wear your's survey creator? |
| mikehunt696 | | posted 31-Aug-2002 11:02pm |
Don't you usually wear socks on both feet? Or is this some new fashion trend? |
| Amanda | | posted 1-Sep-2002 12:04am |
Either one is fine with me. I haven't worn an anklet in ages, but when I did I always wore them on my right ankle. I guess because I'm right handed?!?!? |
SueBee | | posted 1-Sep-2002 12:32am |
What difference does it make? |
| kaleb777 |
I don't think it matters. Does anyone know if there is any significance in the arm men get tattooed on - left or right? |
Zang | | (reply to spidertea) posted 1-Sep-2002 2:39am |
You have to choose! You can't be going around with two of them on...That would be...That would be...That would be symmetrical! We can't have any of that! |
they |
Dunno.. and I place orders for them all day long.. but I would put one on my right ankle if I actually for some ungodly reason wanted to draw attention to my ugly ass feet... (and if for some other ungodly reason I wasn't wearing my combat boots). |
Enheduanna | | posted 1-Sep-2002 10:07am |
Whichever ankle the wearer prefers. |
CarolL |
Can't see how it matters unless there is some silent code indicating some meaning for either. |
| Bibliophile |
How about "I don't care" or "Either foot" as a possible answer? If you mean bracelets around the ankles, I don't wear them, but if others wish to I think they can wear them on whichever foot they choose. If you mean ankle socks, both feet. (Unless you only have one foot or have a cast on one and can thus only wear one sock, in which case, the foot you wear it on would be pre-determined.) |
| Dino |
The left foot.?
|
SueBee | | (reply to they) posted 2-Sep-2002 6:22pm |
So, you face each day as if going into combat, huh? There is definitely some wisdom to that! |
| juliw |
I don't care. I think they look tacky on everyone. I don't like toe rings, either. |
| Dino |
EEK! Since doing this survey I have noticed lots of girls wearing Ankle braclets. Mostly on different sides thought. Never noticed them before. Statistically they're on the left. |
| grmbrand | | posted 3-Sep-2002 11:59am |
I don't wear them, and on women, either works for me. I suspect that the author of this survey is referring to Hindu cultural practice, in which (if I'm not mistaken) the wearing of anklets in a certain way indicates that one is a prostitute... |
southernyankee | | posted 3-Sep-2002 12:52pm |
what kinds of idiots wear those things!!
I sell these things and people buy them like crazy.
They're all the way on the bottom, and hardly anyone can see them.
The same types of people also keep asking me if we sell toe rings. |
| Locutus | | (reply to Biggles) posted 3-Sep-2002 6:29pm |
If you tell me how old you are I'll tell you if I'm you're age . |
they | | (reply to SueBee) posted 4-Sep-2002 2:52am |
I'll admit it.. I have a fetish for people that wear combat boots... When I lived in NC, we lived about 15 miles from Fort Bragg. I was in heaven... there is something sooo sexy about a man and his boots.
I wear them for comfort and they go with every outfit... jeans, shorts, dresses, even professional clothing. |
Biggles | | (reply to Locutus) posted 4-Sep-2002 9:35am |
I'm 18.7 according to advanced stats. I was looking at me in the stats and didn't realise it......I'm a fool! |
| mandy | | (reply to they) posted 4-Sep-2002 9:06pm |
yum. I have to agree. |
they | | (reply to mandy) posted 4-Sep-2002 10:55pm |
Y'know.. somehow, I thought you would. |
SueBee | | (reply to they) posted 4-Sep-2002 11:19pm |
They are very practical if you find them to be comfortable. I've never found any boots that fit me properly. I live in sneakers. |
| wolfchik9 | | posted 18-Sep-2002 10:01pm |
Depends on the person. I like wearing them on my right ankle. |
| joachim | | (reply to Biggles) posted 3-Oct-2002 7:46pm |
They are worn *around* the ankle but most of them are simultaneously worn *on* the foot. |
| Locutus | | (reply to Biggles) posted 28-Oct-2002 3:06pm |
I'm pretty close to you. |
