| bandit1cat | posted 14-Aug-2002 1:29pm It varies depending on certain periods in your life, emergencies, whatever. For me right now more money is highest priority. |
| Matt | posted 14-Aug-2002 1:43pm Feel better about myself. |
| Irene007 | posted 14-Aug-2002 1:56pm A happier relationship with a loved one... Thank God it's not with my husband, just my sister. Her boyfriend has come to a stupid conclusion about a court case he was involved with concerning his ex-employer and is convinced that my husband (who used to work for the same man) got involved siding against him. He never came to us with his suspicions, he just assumed this scenario and black-balled us. His actions have hurt my relationship with my sister. Stupid Steven!! |
| Irene007 | (reply to Matt) posted 14-Aug-2002 1:59pm Ben voyons! You're a great guy, why should you feel so bad?? |
| teatree | posted 14-Aug-2002 2:19pm Better health. |
| darkshadowsseeker | posted 14-Aug-2002 2:32pm A job |
| moonstone | posted 14-Aug-2002 4:09pm At the moment, more money. But, really I want to feel better about myself. If I felt better about myself, I think the rest would eventually fall into place. |
| jettles | posted 14-Aug-2002 4:57pm hmmm, to do more of everything that i already do! |
| anoddoblivion | posted 14-Aug-2002 4:58pm It's really rather simple. To be closer to God would help you with everything, hence helping you with all of these things, so there's only one answer anybody can choose. |
| juliw | posted 14-Aug-2002 5:26pm Total peace of mind |
| juliw | (reply to anoddoblivion) posted 14-Aug-2002 5:29pm Exactly! That's why I chose peace of mind. |
| confetti | posted 14-Aug-2002 5:33pm If I could have any of the following, which would you want most? Obviously, to help mankind in some way. You know what I would do? I would bring everyone down or up to a healthy body mass index and make sure everybody got [enough] healthy and sensible food. It irks me to think that 2 out of 3 American adults are overweight, nearly 30% of the entire population is clinically obese and hundreds of tons of perfectly good food is thrown out each year while there are those figures of people actually starving to death elsewhere in the world. |
| confetti | posted 14-Aug-2002 5:34pm Am I the only unselfish individual here? |
| mandy | posted 14-Aug-2002 9:08pm A better job |
| ASB | posted 14-Aug-2002 11:16pm Have calm and peaceful surroundings not filled with crazy people. |
| dora | posted 15-Aug-2002 1:35am Oh,hard... I had to go on the helping mankind thing.Only because I feel this like some kind of karmic duty. What I'd like would be being spiritually free, better sex life, feel better about myself. The last is included in helping mankind, because if you don't feel good about yourself you can't help anyone.I don't WANT to help mankind,I think I HAVE to. |
| Tammer | posted 15-Aug-2002 5:57am Better job and more money. |
| Enheduanna | posted 15-Aug-2002 9:48am More money. |
| Dino | posted 15-Aug-2002 2:14pm A better job. I spend over half my life in work. I want better pay, better satisfaction. The whole lot. It may sound shallow but that's what I want. The rest I can take care of if I want. |
| grmbrand | posted 15-Aug-2002 2:14pm A clean house. |
| Jemmy | posted 15-Aug-2002 7:03pm other:To feel better about myself while having an awesome relationship with a great boyfriend and having more money. |
| Galomorro | posted 15-Aug-2002 8:58pm MORE MONEY! So I can buy a house where I most want to live, which has more room for gardening outdoors than I now have! |
| Iseult | posted 16-Aug-2002 12:26pm To meet a guy I find physically attractive who is interested in me, or if he's interested in me, he is not in a relationship with someone else. That is all I am asking for, because that never happens. Either he is too short, or dressed bad, or does his hair bad, or just that suicidal/homicidal look in his eyes. |
| dora | (reply to Iseult) posted 16-Aug-2002 12:42pm Homicidal look in his eyes sounds good,if he's not a REAL killer. |
| anoddoblivion | (reply to juliw) posted 16-Aug-2002 2:07pm Uhmmm, ok. |

| Matt | (reply to Irene007) posted 16-Aug-2002 10:37pm Sa dépend des jours, j'ai des hauts et des bas I guess. |
| Irene007 | (reply to Matt) posted 21-Aug-2002 8:07am The trick is to keep yourself busy with the things that please YOU and forget about the rest! |
| wolfchik9 | posted 27-Aug-2002 6:42pm More money... then I'd already have a better job or have won the lottery so I'd be ok for awhile without worrying about bills or car insurance. |
| Matt | (reply to Irene007) posted 29-Aug-2002 8:26am Been trying to and with classes starting I wont have a problem keeping myself busy! |
| Irene007 | (reply to Matt) posted 29-Aug-2002 5:22pm C'est bien! |
| joachim | posted 31-Aug-2002 9:28pm I'd like to help mankind. But it's kind of arrogant to want that, I think. |
| pepperdrinks | posted 1-Sep-2002 12:13am a boyfriend, please? |
| Biggles | (reply to joachim) posted 1-Sep-2002 11:45am Arrogant in what way? In a way, I'd agree, but I'd be interested to know exactly what you mean. |
| LuridHope | posted 2-Sep-2002 9:59pm Wanting to help mankind is much different from the rest of these more personal options. I only picked for the sake of a greater good. Weighing the needs of the many against my own. |
| joachim | (reply to Biggles) posted 24-Sep-2002 10:28am Well it's a big world and there's a lot wrong with it. It seems that making a significant enough change to be considered "helping mankind" would require an almost superhuman effort. It's the stuff of legend and the work of heroes. I'm just a regular person - who am I to think I can save the world? I should leave that to the professionals. On the other hand, I more and more frequently think that if I just left my life behind and worked only on some problem (like helping some people in some particular way) I could really make a huge difference. It's the commitment, the time and the energy you put into it that count, I think. |
| Biggles | (reply to joachim) posted 24-Sep-2002 4:37pm I'd agree with that sentiment |
| mandy | (reply to joachim) posted 28-Sep-2002 4:40pm yeah, but when would you watch T.V? |
| wererat | posted 28-Sep-2002 8:59pm accessible chemical hyperactivity |
| joachim | (reply to mandy) posted 30-Sep-2002 12:17pm Exactly my problem. |
| starrpickle | posted 6-Nov-2002 3:35pm I'll take one of each we all have room for improvement especially me |
