A date. I was supposed to go out with this woman today. I slept in, and stood her up. You can imagine how guilty I feel. I listened to my voice mail. There were four messages, each one sounding progressively more desperate and pathetic. I'm such a heel! * frown *

My only covered butter dish when I was doing dishes. It slipped out of my soapy fingers and hit the center divider between the two sinks. Now I have to use a saucer to put the butter on. * frown *

A drinking glass, but that's what happens when you are watching TV and not paying attention to what you are doing. Maybe I should get plastic drinking glasses.

My daughters stroller for her dolls. I was cleaning and tossed it out of the way and the wheel broke. * frown *

The last things I remember breaking were plates. They were stacked in the cupboard. When I pulled the top one down, the entire pile went too. They landed on my foot and several of them broke.

Putting up a cheap and nasty chipboard flat-pack chest of drawers. I broke the thing and so stuffed it back in its box and wrapped it in lots of duck tape and sent it back with a re-order for hard wood. Nothing was said.

Was it one of those cheap plastic pink ones? Lexie has one that the wheels bend, just from wear and tear. I recently broke the wheel on a real stroller. It got stuck in the porch steps and when I pulled it out, it broke.

Ouch...that must have hurt! I'm surprised you didn't get hurt yourself. Do you have any idea why the stack of plates toppled?

Hmmm....I think it was a hair elastic. By accident. I've never really broken something out of anger, that I can remember.

I was pulling at a plate that was above my head - so I was pulling downwards. Everything just unbalanced! My foot still hurts a bit - but no broken bones * smile *

My sister does it all the time. It doesnt' have any thing to do with your age, but your height and the height of the items you are reaching for. When her son still lived with her she would have him get things down from high shelves, but since he moved she has had to rely on a stepstool again.

yet another glass. I've taken out about six in the last three months. This time I was holding it in my hand, with my arm at my side, as I squeezed into the kitchen past the stove. Or should I say, into the stove, since that's where my hand and the glass went. The last set of glasses I bought lasted about four hours before I demolished one. If you're coming over to my house for wine, don't bring more than one friend or you'll be drinking merlot out of a Death Star cup!
