Who is your celebrity crush?

As we said in qualification, not everyone who has a crush on someone is OBSESSED with that person. You can have a crush without being obsessed. It's not like every crush is like that of Alicia Silverstone in "The Crush." That's why I'm giving this a bad rating because you didn't listen to us in qualification. Also, given the average age at SC is 28 I would think that many of us have outgrown our tendencies to have crushes. Personally I haven't had one since I was a teenager and I'm almost 50 years of age. I mentioned this in qual as well.

I only get one? Brad Pitt. But I'm not "obsessed" with him, it's a physical attraction. He's hot.

Okay, I do not have such a crush now but I used to be obsessed with: (1) when a young teenager, Little Richard (the classic rock/R&B singer); (2) when I was a young adult, Mick Jagger.

I find celebrity to be a bit of a turn off. It seems to me, the more famous someone becomes, the less sexually attractive they are. Okay, that's just a generalisation, but I can't think of any really good exceptions.

I did take your comments in qualification into consideration, I added an option for those who have out grown crushes, but i feel you're being a tad picky with my word choice.

I've liked him for about 5 years. I thought I'd get over it, but everytime I see him on tv or in a movie, he's still looking really hot. Did you see "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"? A lot of it was filmed here. My brother was a deputy sheriff at the time and did some security for them. He got to meet George Clooney and he let him drive his car that he drove in the movie. The car is actually his in real life, too. I was so jealous! My brother said that he's really down to earth and it didn't seem like fame had gone to his head. I think that makes a lot of famous people look bad, when they let fame go to their head and think they are better than everybody else. It's good to know that deep down, George is just the average Joe.

I didn't think much either way about George Clooney, but I read that of all the ER cast, he was the only one who never asked to be paid more. He was paid as much for his last episode as he was for the earliest. I don't know if that's true, but I'd like to think it is - it's nice to believe that not all actors are just out to make more money than they can possibly spend!

That is absolutely true. Clooney NEVER asked for a pay raise, and when he did a guest shot in Julianna Marguiles last epsiode, he got paid the SAG minmum for a brief appearence on a TV show. $200/hour. And he was only on set for half a day. Maybe less. Jack Lemmon also took the SAG minimum to be in Tuesday's With Morrie. And plenty of actors have taken pay CUTS. Pierce Brosnan for Goldeneye, Brad Pitt for 3 of his last five flicks, Patrick Stewart for the forthcoming Star Trek Nemesis, and so on.

I was not sure about "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?", it was kind of strange yet in the end, I fell in love with Kentucky Blue Grass! I keep telling people that they have got to see this film - it's great! Clooney's type of personality usually shows through even if he's acting. Take Morgan Freeman for example, I'm sure he's a kind man - he just can't hide it. I had a feeling that he was a down to earth type guy, I think that the twinkle in his eye is just a reflection of that; he's play acting and having a gas doing it!
