| cody | posted 10-Jul-2002 10:40pm Sounds GREAT. A beautiful woman, of course. Preferably one that likes me. |
| freebird_old | posted 10-Jul-2002 11:14pm My pets of course. And maybe my friend Travis, he knows when to get lost and he's the perfect Scrabble partner, he holds his own, yet he's never quite good enough to win. |
| LuridHope | posted 10-Jul-2002 11:27pm Well I unfortunately have not met the woman of my dreams... I could probably fabricate a musical instruments... Well, if I'm truly alone, then no one will have to tolerate or accept me. I will not have to worry about being different or judged. Yes if I was alone no-body could say my life style was wrong, or upsetting to them. If I was alone no one would be offended by what I am most attracted to. So I would choose a Holy Bible. |
| Galomorro | posted 10-Jul-2002 11:29pm Does a little cottage with ample sun and room for plants count? If I cannot have this, then my computer is a very good companion. |
| Jemmy | posted 12-Jul-2002 5:19pm Hmmm.....I'll have to get back to you. It would be a person, but I'm not sure who. Would I be able to go outside and converse with other people, or am I stuck in a house forever with this person? |
| Amanda | posted 12-Jul-2002 5:24pm I would pick my son. I don't think I could live without him. I'd also like to pick my fiance, my parents, and a few other people. But, since I can only pick one, it's got to be my son. He's the most important person in my life. |
| Dino | posted 12-Jul-2002 6:02pm Am I allowed to pick my computer (with internet connection)? Does that make me a geek? I guess realistically I would say nothing. I have my mind and that keeps me pretty entertained as it is. |
| juliw | posted 12-Jul-2002 6:07pm hard to choose... |
| confetti | posted 12-Jul-2002 6:55pm What/who would I pick if I had to pick one thing to live alone with the for rest of your life? Interesting sentence structure! > |
| justjulie | posted 12-Jul-2002 9:15pm well...i would want to be greedy and say my child, but i would feel guilty that he would be deprived of living a full life, so i guess that that isn't the right answer...maybe my hub, but i think that he would get rather sick of me and go out for a loaf of bread one day and never return, so i don't think that that is the right answer either....my kitties for sure, they would be happy, they'd have food and water and be able to play outside and things, maybe that is the right way to go, but wait, maybe it isn't, for kitties don't live nearly as long as humans and then i'd be alone since the kitties are all fixed and there wouldn't be a chance of procreation, so that isn't the right answer either...oh hell, i don't know...as long i can have patchouli, coffee cigarettes, some seeds so i can grow my own and some alcohol making equipment, and BOOKS and art supplies, i think that i'll be just fine. |
| Irene007 | posted 12-Jul-2002 10:18pm My husband - he's much better than a dildo... |
| mandy | posted 12-Jul-2002 11:47pm Sue |
| SueBee | posted 13-Jul-2002 2:20am Mandy, of course! |
| SueBee | (reply to mandy) posted 13-Jul-2002 2:20am You picked me?! |
| they | posted 13-Jul-2002 11:35am Mary. |
| Zang | posted 13-Jul-2002 4:34pm Oh, some particularly sexy woman that I know... |
| Biggles | posted 13-Jul-2002 5:12pm Maybe my computer if I could stay in touch with other people using it and also access the internet with it's wealth of information. If that doesn't count, then just a person. Any person who would stay with me. If we didn't always get on it wouldn't matter, just having a person there would be all that I'd need. |
| kirsty | posted 13-Jul-2002 5:56pm My SO |
| NthenSome | posted 14-Jul-2002 7:31pm Since you don't mention "eternity" (which would have resulted in an answer different than this one), I would most definitely say my mom. My SO would be second in this case, believe it or not. If I picture being alone with one person/thing for the rest of my life, the enjoyable and always-enlightening company of my mother has always surpassed anyone else's - by far. This is only of course if I am granted free roam of the entire island (huge island) whenever I want, haha. |
| natsim | posted 15-Jul-2002 3:35am Huh? My SO. |
| grmbrand | posted 15-Jul-2002 8:17am My wife. |
| kaleb777 | posted 16-Jul-2002 5:49pm Huh? This is kind of abstract. I dunno, one of those Star Trek food generators? |

| Cleo | posted 18-Jul-2002 12:07am My cats! |
| Cleo | posted 18-Jul-2002 12:11am Well,I was mad at David at the time, but I would pick David holding my cats. |
| pengy | posted 19-Jul-2002 3:24pm My husband |
| wolfchik9 | posted 21-Jul-2002 7:11pm Martin, my SO. I would need the companionship, amongst other things. |
| mikehunt696 | posted 26-Jul-2002 3:06am My mom. |
| NthenSome | (reply to mikehunt696) posted 26-Jul-2002 3:15am Thank God. I was beginning to think I was the only freak around here. Actually, we've both told of our moms, how cool and respected they are. Let's get them together for drinks. Does your mom like Vodka and tonic incidentally? |
| mikehunt696 | (reply to NthenSome) posted 26-Jul-2002 3:18am She doesn't drink. I think it has to do with her growing up in an alcoholic household. I'm not even certain how she feels about me having an occasional beer, but if it bothers her she keeps that to herself. |
| Iseult | posted 22-Aug-2002 5:12pm a hot guy |
