What have you got saved in your favourites folder?

Internet Explorer offers the facility to save favourite website links in an easy access folder.
In Netscape this facility is known as 'bookmarking'.

Most computers come with a pre-selected list in this folder. I am more interested in the ones you have added or bookmarked yourself.

I use both Netscape and Internet Explorer.

On Internet Explorer:
A&E
Discovery
Enchanted Mountain Poems
E-Poll
Freemasonry Watch
Funny Pics (have no idea what this is)
Hospice
Jigsaw Puzzles Online
Love Poetry
Real Player Homepage
Survey Central
Tattoo-religious
The Greatest Love Songs Ever Written
Where's George

I just looked and I don't have any bookmarks on Netscape. All the things bookmarked there are things my SO and his son have bookmarked.

Too many to list. I put everything in sub-folders. I'll list them: Books, Comics, Fun, MP3.com, Music, Buddies, Info, Politics, Products, Religion, Transportation, Links (empty), and one called "You unemployed bum!".

I could paste it here, but the page would take forever to load: dozens of folders, containing dozens of folders, containing dozens of folders. I have folders for all the major faiths, arts, sciences, programming methodologies, urban, social, and political stuff. I'm waiting to have a spare week to format it better.

There's a lot in the folder because my whole family uses it, but I have my own folder within it. That contains quite a variety, including:

http://citysnapper.org/dm/ (Dave Milner's picture archive - great site with lots of photographs of Sheffield). I also have one of the pictures in there seperately: http://citysnapper.org/dm/sheff1999/99kes1.jpg because that's a great picture of my school (now former school *sob*).

I have that Tarot reading site Dino mentioned on the Tarot survey because I wanted to have a look. I had my look and now I'm going to delete it. Done.

I have a link to the research msgman quoted when talking about gay couples adopting. That's staying because I haven't read it yet. (I was doing exams!!!)

I have four links to web pages about the civil war between Stephen and Maud (12th Century) because I'm a big Cadfael fan (books not the tv series) and I find that period of English history particularly fascinating. I haven't got around to reading all of that yet.

There's an introduction to the Russian alphabet: http://catcode.com/rintro/first.htm and a Russian phrasebook. I want to keep learning that at university because it's a lovely language.

There's Janet Evanovich's website: http://catcode.com/rintro/first.htm (BTW Dino, the next book is out now! *smile* )

I have the websittes of the three main British political parties (Conservatives, Labour and the Lib Dems).

http://www.oxbridge-info.org.uk/ has lots of information about applying to Oxford and Cambridge and lots of profiles sent in by people who had interviews - some who got in and some who didn't. They make interesting reading and I keep going back to see if there are any more.

http://www.s-cool.co.uk is an A-level revision website that came in useful when I needed other students to moan at. Now we're all worrying about results together.

http://www.biology.ox.ac.uk/prospectus.html#careers is about studying Biological Sciences at Oxford.

Then there's just SC (I never use favourites to get here though - I just type the address straight in), a couple of HK reccommendations (like tinyurl which is a pretty cool site), msgman's Friday Fun website (which seems to have remained pretty unchanged the last time I looked?), the Spark.

And finally, the dreaded UCAS site. *scary music plays*

I've got lots of things bookmarked, but I don't really feel like listing them all here. Google and SC are the first two things, though. And then there's a bunch of folders for sites on various topics, and then a few more random links at the end.

A bunch of survey sites I've joined, most of which I never visit. Online communities and forums. Lottopol (it asks you a survey question). Search engines. Yahoo maps. Employment sites. Rateitall. Planet Feedback. Encyclopedia of Cajun Culture. Amazon.com. Educational sites. Textbook and video online sites. A Buddhist site. Herbs for Health. Apple sites. CDNow. Complaints.com. My old home page (which is badly in need of work and updating).... my neighborhood (Chinatown) branch library for its times of operation... etc. - some others that I could probably delete.

Mostly work stuff: Medical journal search engines, some specific journals, our University library journal listing, funding websites, links to other institutes, other libraries and conferences.
Then local stuff: mp3 site for melbourne bands, my local public library, a local gig guide, my local cinema listings,
And miscellany: the prayer website run by the Irish Jesuits, the Patron Saints Index, and a guide to installing ceiling insulation! Gee... I wonder what I'm doing this weekend?
