What a cool survey!

1. The Twin Peaks and Corona Heights neighborhoods in central San Francisco with their old houses, flowers, neighborhood gardens, lemon trees...

2. Maguro (raw tuna) with wasabi, and many other sushi delights. The restaurant Sushi-Rika, a block from where I live, is EXcellent!

3. Reading a good thriller on my fire escape on a warm day and having little or no other obligations, but just relaxing and listening to the birds in the avocado and eucalyptus trees.

4. Having extra money to spend on Cajun music (and other world music), and on other things I never get enough of, like eating out at good restaurants and being able to buy really good wines; essential oils and expensive incense...

5. Discovering things I really like (and can afford at the time!) for next-to-nothing at garage sales, and books I like at my public library's annual sale where all books are a buck and paperbacks are fifty cents...

1- Laughter. At the not-so-funny things and at the hilarious. Feeling myself almost dissolve onto the floor after spending half an hour of my life perfecting the message on my mother's answering machine: "Costa Rica's Royal Clown Academy is unable to answer your call at this moment. If you wish to apply, please leave your name, telephone number, shoe size after the tone. For further information, press extension line 102 or wait for one of our operators...thank you and have a nice day".

2- Friendship. Pure joy is in knowing that people who know all your defects as well as virtues still want to spend time with you and will defend and love you without question.

3- Dreams. Cheers for those that leave you pondering in bed and those that make you want to get right off your bed and up into the day.

4- Sugary cereal with cold milk. Self-explanatory.

5- Freedom to imagine. What else can we have?

Oh no, I couldn't possibly! My school is beautiful, a listed building. I have far too great a respect for history than to want to see it destroyed. It's an Edwardian building - it used to be a boy's private school before the government introduced comprehensive schooling in the 60s then it became a state school. Here's a picture, could you destroy this? http://citysnapper.org/dm/sheff1999/99kes1.jpg

It may take a couple of attempts to load.
