When I was a child I was home from school with an upset stomach. My grandmother told me I could have a bottle of warm 7-up to sip to help settle my stomach down. I got a bottle of 7-up, went to take a sip and noticed something floating in the bottle. It was a caterpillar! Needless to say that my stomach got much more upset after that and I've never been able to drink 7-up since then. My grandmother contacted the bottler and they came out bringing with them a dozen cases of 7-up and apologizing like crazy. I didn't drink any of the 7-up.

Watching the creation of a "vomlette" on Jackass. Every time I think of it I nearly throw up.

When I was about 10 I earned a dollar. Each of the cents in that dollar was used to purchase what is known here as icy-cups. It is the most sickeningly sweet chocolate you can imagine. In my infinite 10-year-old wisdom, I ate every last one of them at one sitting. Later, I suffered one of the most excruciating migraine headaches of my life. Throwing up icy-cups is something that will only happen once in my life. Just thinking about them makes me feel migraine pain. Ugh.
Good survey.

None, really. I've gotten sick off of vodka and off of salad, but the experiences didn't put me off either one...

There isn't one. I can think of things that make me nauseous, but none of them have anything to do with things that I ate or drank at some time. I can think of things that were pretty nasty that I tasted, or things that I ate that made me sick, but thinking about them doesn't effect me that way.

I don't even want to think about them. By the way, the correct word is NAUSEATED. When you feel a bout of nausea, you are nauseated. To be NAUSEOUS, you are the one causing disgust or nausea in others.

My one and only experience trying peach shnapps. I think I spent most of the night throwing it (and everything else) up! Never again!

Ever leave coffee out too long? I have this covered drivers mug and it got M - O- L - D - Y. So I put some dish soap in the bottom with about half a cup of water to let it soak... One morning a couple days later, half awake and groggy I poured myself a cup of coffee. * * **GULP** * *

oh. my. god. ewwwwww!!!

My roommate and I used to drink a lot of Diet Coke (or maybe it was Tab, back then) when we were in Architecture School together pulling all-nighters. She also smoked..... I'm sure you can see where this horrid little tale is going. But I think yours was worse, still.

Scottish pies can be regular pie sized or hand held sized. They can be sweet(ex. mincemeat) or savoury(ex. meat and vegetables) and include but are not limited to:
Scottish Pies
Sausage Rolls
Forfar Bridies
Shepard's Pies
Pork Pies
Individual Steak Pies
Chicken Pies
Steak & Sausage Pies
Steak & Kidney Pies
All Steak Pies

I think we tried one of each! * raspberry * *just kidding*

Ok, let's see... my parents and grandparents always tell me how as a child I used to eat everything. Now, as I got older, my taste has kind of changed, and I absolutely hate Brussels sprouts. I don't like the look of it, neither the smell, nor the taste.... so whenever I think about that as a child I used to actually eat that stuff (and as I have been told more than once in a while....) it makes me sick. *yuck*

uh... OK. So what's a Forfar Bridie??? And why do Scots lay claim to all these pies? And how does a sausage roll become a pie?

Jeez! You're making me hungry with all this talk!

I was drinking a can of Dr. Pepper one time. My step-mother poured her brother's can of soda into mine as a joke since it was a different flavor. It ended up being his tobacco spit she poured into my soda. I took a couple of drinks not realizing what it was, trying to figure it out. I was sick the next day.

Have you ever seen the show "Fear Factor" on TV? They eat gross things like roaches, beetles, cow tongue, buffalo testicles, and the such. They are supposed to eat this stuff in the quickest time in order to move on to another level. This means they must keep it down. I get sick watching them eat that stuff, then gagging and wretching, trying to keep it from coming back up. It's absolutely disgusting.

I was drinking a glass of juice in the living room and left the glass on the coffee table while I went to the garage to transfer the clothes from the washer to dryer. I came back in, picked up my juice and took a sip and put the glass down and then noticed that there was a fly floating in the juice.
Shudder!
