| kirst | posted 1-May-2002 6:02am I used to work out at the gym everyday when I lived in Florida. It became harder after moving to Hong Kong due to long work hours and commute. Now that I have a 2-year-old it's almost impossible to get to the gym because I don't have anyone to look after her. (My husband travels 200+ days per year...) Needless to say, I was in much better shape before moving to Hong Kong. |

| moonstone | posted 1-May-2002 8:19am Never. I have never worked out in a gym. I would probably feel to intimidated. I also don't have the money to go to a gym. |
| grmbrand | posted 1-May-2002 9:07am I work out six days a week. I do not use gym equipment. MWF: Upper Body (abs, chest, arms) TRS: Running (legs, lower back) My goals are to reach the Army's minimum passing marks before I start boot camp. For me, a 28-year-old male, that's: 39 perfect push-ups in two minutes 45 perfect sit-ups in two minutes 17:00 minutes maximum time for a two-mile run. |
| Galomorro | posted 1-May-2002 9:15am I never work out. I get my exercise daily however because I (1) walk to work two miles each way; (2) live in a third floor walkup (with the trash area in the basement so that's 4 floors up when I empty trash; (3) I run errands on the weekends and sometimes after work by walking to and from stores and carrying stuff I buy in a backpack; (4) I have to do the laundry at a laundromat a block away and bump the cart up and down the stairs of my building to get to and from. So why pay a hefty price to work out indoors in a crowded environment...? Or clutter my tiny place up with a bunch of exercise equipment... ? |
| Enheduanna | posted 1-May-2002 10:01am Not since college. I take a yoga class once a week and walk a lot. |

| Biggles | posted 1-May-2002 2:14pm I exercise but it's just day to day stuff (walking, running for the bus, climbing up so many stairs at school that I get altitude sickness), not a work out. I've never been in a gym. |
| juliw | posted 1-May-2002 6:08pm I do therapy exercises every day, but I do them at home. |

| Amanda | posted 1-May-2002 10:55pm I usually work out at the gym on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I'm too busy to go work out. I do work out at home sometimes during the week. It varies a lot. Sometimes, late at night, if I'm bored and can't sleep, I'll go to the gym and work out a while. All the members have a key to get in anytime. There's usually nobody there in the middle of the night, if there is, there's only a few people. It's the best time to work out. I have my choice of the machines. No lines!!! |
