| darkshadowsseeker | posted 23-Apr-2002 2:38am No SO. What the Hell happened to the other one this survey creator did? I know he/she did another version of this because he/she accidently did this one anonymously and couldn't edit it. The other version was much better as it had options and if you didn't have an SO, you could pick someone you knew who looked like a celebrity. |

| Cain | (reply to Biggles) posted 30-Apr-2002 8:33am We were given a list of ridiculous conditions to adhere to when we moved in - no persons of the opposite gender in your flat after midnight, no parties without prior consent of the warden, no guest of the same gender without 24 hours notice to the warden beforehand and so on. We've all become very good at sneaking about - a lad was actually chucked outo f the residence when he was found coming out of a girls flat when the fire alarm went off. But no more of that next year thank god, I got a phone call an hour ago saying that the flat I put an offer on is mine. Wahey!! |

| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 8-May-2002 3:53pm How do you like your new home??? |
| justjulie | (reply to Cleo) posted 9-May-2002 8:54am ooohh...it's great much more comfortable than the other place, and for the first time, it looks like grown ups here! ok, well first of all, it's a duplex, we live in the upper part. our neighbors downstairs, is a beautiful mexican family of 5, who lived upstairs here before us. wonderful people. outside, we have a driveway, a garage, trees, a good sized yard which is covered at the moment w/ little purple flowers and dandelions. there are 2 gardens, one is our neighbors, and heyzeus and mimind, just dug one for us on saturday, a little smaller than our neighbors, but still bveautiful all the same. also in the back of the house is the basement, one of those old cellar types where you must swing open some "barn doors" and there are steep stairs leading to the actual basement. we don't have a way to acess it from our place, but the downstairs does. the building itself, is really cute. it feels like a little gnome house or something on that line. it's a brownish brick/ stone mix w/ a brick red trim. pretty cute. in the front of the house, there are some flower beds, and a porch. pretty nice one too. there are 2 doors on the porch, the one in the middle of it, is ours, and the one that is a little hidden to the right of ours, is theirs. you go through the front door, which is a screen door followed by a big heavy door, and there is our foyer. it has a closet to you left, a decent sized walk in, which contains our camping stuff on the top shelf, and noah's stroller and a little pull cart and our winter jackets. to your right is the stairs going up w/ a door at the bottom of those stairs. you go up about half way, and there is a little built in shelf to your right, which i have some nick nacky stuff on it, stuff that is too tall to fit anywhere else, also a couple of pictures adorn the walls in that area, one of my neice, one of heyzeus as a baby, and one of moonstone's and mimind's child, still trying to fugure out which one of my kid will go there. so you continue up the stairs and you come to a landing. on the right is a door w/ a lock on it, it is the door that connects our place w/ their place, it never gets used. to your left and up, is a cut out "window" that you can sort of see the living room. take one more step and you're standing on the hallway floor. if you look to your left, there is a door there that is closed, for that leads into the living room. to you right is a hallway. go down the hallway, and you will come across an opening on your left, go through there, and you're standing in the kitchen. since you're standing in the doorway, the sick and my only counter top is directly in front of you. to your left you see another doorway w/ a copper butterfly mold hanging above the doorway, blocking your path to that door is a high chair. so you decide to go into the kitchen in stead of just standing there, and there is a big fridge w/ a garbage can to the right of it, and to the right of that is the stove. to the right of the stove you see a door w/ a window. that door leads outside above the garage, there is a lawn chair out there. on the other wall, the one that is parallel w/ the doorway from the hall, is a window, w/ a little table underneath it and a chair. our "coffee" table, and below the table is where the kitties' food and h2o bowls are. above all of that is a shel that heyzeus put up for me, that hold our spices, cookbooks, and different types of tea. in the corner is my broom and mop....look to your right again, on the same wall as the sink, is a huge walk in pantry w/ a lot of shelves, there is a door on it as well. turn right, walk a couple of steps, and turn right again to go out of the kitchen through the doorway w/ the copper butterfly over it. this doorway leads you in to a HUGE front room that hold the computer tv and our books. as you stand i the doorway, you notice that the room is quite long , but not vry wide. directly across from the doorway, is our window wall. there is a total of 6 windows, but only 4 are able to open. there is a set right across from the doorway, to the left of that is a HUGE book shelf, that is built in from the floor to the ceiling, to the left of that, is the other set of windows.above all the windows, is a built in shelf all of those adorn knick knacky things. siltt, in the doorway. you look to the right, and there sits the computer along w/ a desk to the right of it. to the left of the computer, is another window, that leads to the porch above the garage, the kitty window. still in the doorway, you look to your left, directly next to you, on the same wall as the doorway, is another door, that is the one that you saw from the stairs coming up, we don't use that one. next to that door, is our couch and to the right of the couch is yet another doorway. on th opposite wall from the computer, on the other end of the room, is the little tv along w/ another window in the corner, that would lead directly above the front porch to come into the house. so you go through the other doorway that is to the right of the couch, this leads in to our bedroom. this is a oretty large room, almost as big as the room you were just in. as you first go through the doorway, there is a door on either side of you, both closets, the one to the right of you ois our walkin clothes closet, love it.there is then an archway, and beyond that is the sctual room, our bed is directly across from the archway, along w/ 2 windows, one on either side of the bed. to the right of the doorway, is a wall of 3 windows, and that wall holds 2 dressers, a standing mirror and a rocking chair, adna little rubbermaid container. to the left of the archway, is noah's crib, his changing table, and another door. we go through that door, and that leads us into another hallway. directly to your left is the door to the attic, which we leave cracked open for that's where the kitties litter boxes are, up there. take a couple of steps and to your right is another door, whaich is our bathroom, toilet is directly to the left and so is the sink. across from the doorway is a window. to the right of the door way is the tub/shower w/ a little closet in the corner to the right of the tub. as you're standing in the hallyway, you look to your left and there is another hallway, that is where you came up the stairs, see? the kitchen is right there. but you go forward, past the hallway you came up, and to your left is another closet, a utility closet. to the right if that is another room. it will be noah's room some day, but for right now, our little love seat is in there and my desk and our radio. the closet in there holds heyzeus' beer making stuff. there are 2 windows in this room. so that is it! thank you for taking the nickel tour, if you have any questions, about anything you saw, feel free to ask! |

| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 13-May-2002 11:22pm That wasn't the nickel tour that was the million dollar tour! My bathroom is a sea shell theme with peach, teal, pinks & tans in the curtains. But my towels are peach & red. I thought the red might off set the rest. My bedroom curtains are almost the same as the bathroom curtains but,I bought 2 sets of King size sheets & made the other set in to curtains to match the bedding. My living room is black(carpet through out the whole house) With white sofas & red cushions to ff set it. I can't seem to think of what to send you for your new pad,as you haven't told me what your theme or colors are. So I'm getting something totally off the wall. Love Cleo. |
| justjulie | (reply to Cleo) posted 14-May-2002 7:53am Actually, our kitchens sound pretty similar. My inspiration for the kitchen, is this little ceramic spoon rest i found for a nickel. It's a bunch of grapes, w/ a smiley face on it. My walls in there are white, but the trim in the kitchen only, is a yellowish brownish green color. the same color as the little leaves on the spoon rest. so, the 2 curtains in there are purple, which works really well. so i have a feew purple accents along w/ some copper, for that seems to go well also. my bathroom is straight up all sun moon stars. the walls are white, but has a beautiful dark blue trim in it. shower curtain and bath mat are sun moon stars. have a little picture of a sun in there, and the knob on the bathroom mirror has a gold star on it. love it. as for the rest of the house then, the walls are a beautiful rich brown color, not too dark, w/ white trim. my curtains are all navy colored, except for the 2 that hang in the little bed room, which are a dark green, which looks really well w/ the brown. in the big front room, our "theme" is the sun moon star thing, we have a really big wall hanging and a large throw rug both that adorn the theme. but we also have a wall of trees and mushrooms, and also have a large "tye-dye" rainbow painting i painted when i was 16 , hanging. so it's all a mish-mash but looks cool. our bed room, which is noah's room also, has different things in it. i got away w/ putting up some of my butterfly stuff in there. around noah's crib is pretty much all animals. i "collect" for him, elephants, BIG cats, and giraffes....and anything that is a DIFFERENT looking noah's ark theme, i've got these older looking wooden folk art noah's ark hangings by his crib, looks pretty cool. anyhow, that's it.....we really don't stick to a certain theme. scott is kinda picky as to what he likes, but i found that he doesn't mind the sun moon star thing, and i know that he doesn't mind the kokopeli theme either, although we don't have anything like that yet, for it's hard to "match" up the brown in it.... anyhow.... i LOVE the sound of your place!!!! when i still liveed w/ my folks, my bedroom was as follows... my ceiling and the one wall that had the door on it, were painted black...the other 3 walls were painted white, and i had a DARK DEEP red carpet! LOVED that room!!!! i's love to see your house sometime, for i think that it would bring back a couple of warm and fuzzy feelings for me anyhow....my computer time is just about up for the day, so you take care of yourself my love, and i shall talk to you again soon!!!! w/ MUCH love & light and hugs too- Jewels(lovelight) |
| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 17-May-2002 12:39am I love your place!!!! I love the Sun & Moon theme you have going, sounds like something I would like to change to,someday. When Bianca was little I tried to make her bedroom a "fishy/ocean related theme" You know? Her being a Pisces & all I felt that she might enjoy that. Then one day she says to me,"Mom, I really don't care for the ocean/fishy related theme!" She wanted a blue/cloud/star related theme. Oh well, what can I do?? Anyway's,I was ready to send, something to you today, however I had received some very bad news this morning.A long time, cherished close friend of mine, passed away on April 6th. For months I've been sending him e-mail after e-mail & it kept bouncing back. Finally David, called the house & his SO called us back today with the news of Craigs passing.Tonight I dragged out some New Years Eve (2000) party photos & cried some more.Sorry I got carried away. But anyway be looking in the mail next week for something special. Aloha (((((HUGS)))) Cleo |

| justjulie | (reply to Cleo) posted 18-May-2002 7:14am ((((HUGS)))) you're so sweet! of course we would let you know in advance! but, just for the record, i don't think that our travel will take us to the coast this year. next weekend we are going down by heyzeus' dad, he lives in illinois, but he lives 20 minutes away from st. louis, so he's right on the border and this will be kind of a little haul for us. the last time we went down there, noah was 8 weeks old, so he didn't mind hanging in the car seat for mostly the whole way. but it is a 6-8 hour drive anyhow, but now that he's 10 months old already, i know that we are going to have to stop quite frequently so he can get out of the car and "run" around and stuff, so i think that it will take us at least 12 hours to get there! ARGH! then in july, around the 4th, heyzeus wants to drag us to the rainbow festival, for i guess that it is relatively close by us this year, i want to say that it is somewhere in michigan. the rainbow fest is a huge hippie gathering.....i'm not really looking forward to it. if he would've wanted to take me 2 or 3 years ago, i wouldn't have even hesitated, but...things are different now, and i'm just not all that excited. THEN.....we have to make a trip out to colorado this summer as well. to see scotty's gramma and gramp and his mom and his 2 daughters. i'm not sure as to when that'll be, but at that time there is a 75% possibility that one, if not both, of his daughters will be coming back w/ us as a permanent home!!!!!ARGH! so...that's what's on my plate in the coming months, but frankly, what i would rather do, is to go out to california before we go to colorado, and just skip the rainbow fest thingy....that's just my opinion though.....anyhow..... so, yeah....i don't think that it'll be this year even, but i would really like to plan on a trip that way next year, for i would love to meet you as well, and kristal rose, and i have a friend who lives in northern california aho i would like to go visit....who even knows! anyhow, much MOOO and love to you my friend, take care and keep smiling, i'll talk to you again very soon!(((HUGS))) **KISSES** |
| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 20-May-2002 4:22pm My gosh!!! Woman!!! You are busy! You guys must have a really good running car. Mine is on the fritz right now. Ohhhh to be young all over again. Other than that,I like to kick it around the house & do crafty stuff. My son & I just completed a 2 story CAT HOUSE. I'm gonna have to devise, some other clear material,to affix to the windows & door. Right now I'm in the process of building a green house for my seedlings & Hawaiian Plumeria plants. But today is too cold & wind to go out & cut lumber. Next week maybe. This weekend Long Beach hosted their annual "Gay Pride Festival" I wanted to go in memory of my dear friend Craig. But David wasn't feeling up to it. Other than that,I'll try to send your package this week. |
| justjulie | (reply to Cleo) posted 20-May-2002 4:34pm i can only hope that our car will be in good shape. funny thing, is that although the trippping we got "planned" this year, none of it will be relaxed, ya' know? tis ok though. i'd prefer to stay home and do puttery stuff but i haven't had much time for any of my puttering lately. by the time i get a chance to do that sort of stuff, i am far too tired to begin. cat house sounds cool!!! i would like to figure out how to do one....kitties would dig it anyhow love...take care of your self and shall talk tomyou again soon!!!! MOOOOOOO!!!!! and love and hugs- |
| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 20-May-2002 5:00pm I so know what you mean by NOT RELAXING" Everytime we went to Hawaii, I woud get stuck packing, unpacking, packing & unpacking.Everyone had a kick back time cause I was in charge of the organizing of everyones luggage. It was no fun for me.More like WORK! David would always say something like, "Honey, you look so tired everytime we go & come back from vacation." I'm thinking, "Well, duh! I did all the work!" We're planning on going down south to San Diego(July 3rd)for our 30th anniversary,to stay in a hotel, overlooking the beach.........I'm not packing anything, cept one change of clothes & my wallet! For my 50th birthday I'd like to stay in a hotel on Catalina Island,we're still debating that, tho. |

LOVE YOU!!!!!! i'm getting 2 rolls of film back today, if not today, next tuesday. so be looking in your snail mail box for some pics of our lil peapod, noah. anyhow, love you my dear, but i gotta run, TOO much to do today, for i have to clean, empty kitty boxes, pack for me and noah, go and buy some tomato plants, pick up pics, call scotty's dad and make sure that they know we're coming to see them this weekend...blah blah blah blah! love you my sweet dear friend, and much MOO to you! |

BTW...did you hear that there is this doctor that REALLY claims that elvis is alive???? i guess that he was a undercover drug agent, so he had to disappear, and that he had enough of the limelight....i guess there is proof all over the place, weird, huh?!?!?!?! |
| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 23-May-2002 11:03pm No! I never heard that.**scratches her head** I'm usually on top of all the Elvis stuff, seeing as how I'm #1 fan,in the whole wide world. When did you hear that? & who is this doctor who claims this Elvis phenomenom?? But yeah! Elvis was kind of a "wanna be drug agent" you might say. But please keep me informed. Thanks! I plan on having a blast with my brother & I hope that the weatherman isn't lying to me. We hardly ever keep in touch. I see him like once every 4 or 5 years or so. Maybe even more.So I'm really looking forward to this visit. Remember what I said now........... drive careful!!!** shakes her finger at you again** Have a fab time! Love & (((((HUGS))) Aloha Cleo |

| justjulie | (reply to Cleo) posted 28-May-2002 8:03am Hola!!! sorry to hear that your bro wasn't able to make it this week, i shall keep my fingers crossed that he'll be able to visit next week.... the trip went really good. Noah was a complete and utter angel considering how long the poor little guy had to hang out in the car seat. no car problems on the way, nor any encounters w/ the police...GOOD THING!!! the weather cooporated for the most part, that was nice too. so...the thing about elvis...unfortunately i don't recall the names of the people who claim this to be true. BUT, i guess there is a photo of elvis form 1980? when muhammod ali came out publically saying he has parkinsons? as you already know, ali and elvis were/are great friends, so he was there, but he knew that a photo would be taken, so he closed his eyes...but you can tell it's him. another thing, why was his body "sweating" at his funeral? WAX!!!!! why is his name spelled wrong on his grave? he didn't want it spelled correctly for the whole "karma" thing. he is thin now, w/ beautiful white hair. he still sings and i hear that his voice is still golden. oh...he also now uses his dead brothers name...jesse, is it? anyhow...love you my friend and much moo to you! |
| Cleo | (reply to justjulie) posted 28-May-2002 11:17pm Ohhhh! It's so nice to know that your all back in one piece.& that things went well on the road with no car problems or Police encounters. For that alone I am grateful! Thank God!! So how was you visit?? Least you had one. |
