There's an episode of Invader Zim where Zim becomes aware of GERMS all around him. He gets all freaked out and dresses in all this weird stuff...including these goggles that help him see the germs on everything. He has on rubber gloves and he puts kleenex boxes on his feet and runs around spraying germ killer. It's funny!!!!!

Bare feet. I always go barefoot in my apartment, on my fire escape, in the building, in my neighbor's apartment. I feel klutzy when I wear shoes in such a small space (my teensy apartment). When I go outdoors I wear good walking shoes, ankle length with good rubber soles.

We have a rule in my house: Take your shoes off before entering. It's something we adopted from the Japanese. All the locals in Hawaii MUST remove their shoes before entering anyones home there. If you don't you will be offending them & they WILL let you know that too. * frown *

So your at work huh?? How was your weekend other wise? Mine was great cept for this awful heat. **fans herself** I'm up a bit late tonight/or a bit early this morning. Depending how you look at it. Geeze I need to get to sleep already. * frown *

You're up late! (You've probably gone as I type this)

Things have started hotting up here in the UK too. I had to get out my fan. It doesn't do much for the majority of the year. Just sits in the cupboard sulking. So out it came and it had a right old time. Spinning around and swaying left to right. I'll let it have its moment of glory until September. Summer has been late here and isn't expected to stay long. Hope it stays nice for my Holiday.

Nope! But I will be leaving after this last reply to you.(it's 3:27 am California time) Yeah! Your lucky! You get to go swimming! I don't live near the ocean like I used to. * frown * I haven't swam in the ocean (cept when I went home to Honolulu 2 years ago) since I moved here back in 1977. I miss it. I learned how to swim when I was about 4 or 5 years old. My dad threw me off his little fishing boat & I had to learn how to swim or sink. What a horrible experience that was! Now that I think about it! But I did learn how to swim. * smile * I didn't perfect it till I was around 12 tho. That's AFTER I almost drowned at Waimea Bay (that was the second time that I almost drowned, the 1st time was at Waikiki Beach while my parents were in the car arguing)

Geeze I should've been dead at least 4 times alone form drowning. I'm sorry! * frown * I hope I'm not scaring you. It was just me! Little & stupid then. I'm WAY better now tho! * smile * Food night Babe! See you later on tonight.

Ow. He can't make it either. The sunburn took too much out of him. I can relate to the feeling, but then I only had two hours of sleep last night. (like last time, which is probably why I slept through most of the sunday).

I found out that David has already scheduled an appointment for himself for Monday & Wednesday. He has two doctors so I don't know for sure which doctor is which.

Yeah! He fell twice in the afternoon while we were at the park, then again last night around 11 pm. I'm getting scared now, cause like I said it's happening more often than ever. Like sometimes twice a day every 3 or 4 days. Before it was occurring like once every 2 or 3 months & before that once every 3 or 4 years or so. Anyway I E-mailed you just now so go there.

Kristal, babe we can always go next year. * smile * There may be one comming up in August at the Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach, that I might be able to attend with David.Cept I think this one has something like a $15.00 entrance fee. I'll let you know later.

I don't think I'll be making long beach. I might have made lawndale if I had known known you were going though. Somehow not making it there seems tied in to my hibiscus bushes not blooming this year.

I just replaced half of of my wardrobe from years gone by with $220 in goodwill purchases, in elegant hippie slut styles Id been waiting years for. Now all I need are scarlet flare jeans which lace up the the entire sides (possibly the interior sides).

Next, it's making it out the beach. I just got a sleeping pill prescription to use intermittently, but I found last night that hand washing my whole mountain, followed by a movie was more important to me than sleeping on time. Of course I regret it now, waking at 7pm and missing another summer day.

Next I have to work at finally doing guitar shows and getting back into dancing.
