That is an enormous radius! There could be dozens...The closest one I know of is less than a kilometre away. I know there are lots more than that. I live in downtown Vancouver, a sixteen kilometre radius covers the entire city and all of the adjacent suburbs.

Not any longer. They discontinued the community garden program back in the mid 80's in my area.  * frown *

Probably. I dont pay attention to these things. Living in East London these things happen to try and improve the social conditions. I like my area. It has lots of green bits.
