What do you think of Greeks and Greece in general ?

I love greek theatre, but I've never been to Greece itself. I was briefly involved with a Greek guy and that was fine, though I'm aware he wasn't A Representative Of His People or anything.

good pizza, salads (Feta+Black olives, mmmm); roman/italians stole their culture (gods, customs, pizza); Socrates is the father of philosophy; greek islands - hot, sandy, white - beautiful water; Athenes is a place I must see some day.

Not a whole lot, really. It's someplace I've always wanted to visit and I like the food, but I've only known one Greek person.

I like spanakopita and anal sex.

Interesting question! As far as I am concerned there is nothing wrong with Greeks. And as far as Greece goes, it looks like a lovely place to visit. I am curious as to what prompted this question?

what an odd question. it deserves an odd answer. when i was in sixth grade, there was a group of girls in my class whose parents were greek. they always used to hang out together, and for a while i wished i was one of them. but that had more to do with wanting to be part of a group than with them being greek. i guess the real answer is that i don't think enough about greeks and greece to have much of an opinion about them.

Personally, greeked text is a pain, because it *never* accurately depicts how the finished copy will darken the whitespace of the page. And when you're cooking one of the "white" meats, you actually want to keep some of the greece, to give the dish decent mouthfeel. I was really suprised by the amount of fat that we trimmed and skimmed from the Xmas goose - it was beautiful and silken, almost colorless - like Canola oil. The meat turned out quite lean tasting, like a substantial cornish hen or quail, not the heavy duckish taste I was expecting at all. Of course, during the winter cold season, schmaltz is a required staple of my freezer - no soup or casserole is complete without it.

Well, they seem to be people to me, and last time I checked, it was a country. However, these guys at my school of mixed heritage and no connection to any foreign countries call themselves greek and live in little houses with letters on the front. They tend to be butt-holes.

Greek freaks. I had a global studies teacher from San Torini (sorry if I botched the spelling) who kind of made them all seem like egotistical bastards with short man's disease. Other than that, they're just like everyone else, right?

Kind of neutral. I don't think there's ever much news about the country or the people, unless it's either multi billionaires or - anything much else? Can't think of a thing. Nice, warm sunny weather all the time. Sort of like Italy and Spain, but different.
