I've always been partial to Mulan. Gwen is sort of similar to her...she disguises herself as a boy to fool Alexander into taking her onto the Quest.

Belle
Snow White
Ariel
Jasmine
Pocahontas
- the reasoning goes beyond the characters themself however, and veers into romantic associations of the those times of my life.

come on down, you could go too!!! actually disney is running specials on their resort prices because travel is down........ room prices on the disney world property are very low from the end of april thru june. they are also running specials on the park passes.
i'm sure the area hotels/motels are doing the same, orlando is having a hard time with the recession and decrease in travel.

Yeah those are cool but I outgrew girl power along with the Spice Girls. "Azure" has both a hero and a heroine...they symbolize man and woman standing together onto a broken world, blah blah blah, none is greater than the other * smile *

None of these. I think Disney has done a pretty good job of sanitising most women characters, and I prefer them the way they were before.

None of the above. In happier times, I can enjoy some Disney, particularly the older stuff (Modern Disney makes me want to throw up, it's such substanceless cranked-out crap!) but lately, even Snow White would set my teeth on edge. Sorry.

I can only ever see Snow White from the Rammstein video and she rocks. Cinderella proved that dreams can come true. Aurora had a beautiful name. I always wanted to swap with Ariel, my legs for her tail. Belle was marvellously unprejudiced. Jasmine and Esmerelda were both fantastically sassy and sexy and I haven't seen any of the others. Can't decide!!
