I had a full M.O.T. at a sexual health clinic. Blood tests, smear tests (and for us guys that is not pretty), the whole shebang. Glad to say that I am the picture of sexual health. *smile*

I go to the doctor about every 2 weeks when my allergies get bad. I just got over bronchitis and had a kidney infection. I cancelled my last appointment because I'm sick of going and our car is in the shop, didn't want hubby to miss more work for another check up. I woke up sick this morning. Hubby thinks it's allergies and a sinus infection. WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!

I went to see my GP about nausea. I'd had it for over a week and it was just before my interview so I wanted it to go away! He put me on some anti-mausea tablets and I was fine after a couple of days.

I'm going to the doctors' surgery next Wednesday *frown*

I feel a bit fobbed off. She sent me home with a prescription for heavy/painful periods withoutt listening to any of my other problems. She didn't even poke my stomach or suggest a pelvuc exam. Not that I want a pelvic exam!!!! But I think I may need one - just to put my mind at ease.

I'll give it another month and see how I'm doing. I'm not going to be a patient patient! *smile*

Oh, an eye exam, a lot of blood tests and other things, but that's a really minor thing compared to being prodded with syringe needles for days, several times each day...

I didnt go again, no. But the bleeding has stopped. I'm pretty sure it hasn't left me anaemic either. I'm going to leave it a few weeks and see how the tablets I was given work.

(reply to Biggles) posted 3-Apr-2002 6:15am

I know what you mean about being fobbed off by doctors. When I lived in Devon I had to go to the hospital because I kept passing out for no reason. They were going to do tests because they thought I may have a heart condition. But I moved to Manchester and the doctors up here wouldn't do the test and just put it down to low blood pressure. But I know it is more than that, I'm thinking maybe I get slight panic attacks or something cos it only seems to be when I am out.

(reply to autumnlight) posted 3-Apr-2002 6:49am

My little brother faints very easily too. Becuse he has slightly low blood pressure, the doctors have just put it down to that and not ordered any further tests. They didn't even take a urine sample to see if he was diabetic! Doctors!!!

Hey Mandy, having a doc grab their nuts is the only sexual contact some guys get. fun one for me was a hot young nurse having to stick a catheter in my penis. Dang, she was wearing those latex gloves or else it might have felt good with her holding my tool.
