What would you do??

Here are some lyrics to a song by a group called City High:

What would you do if your son was at home
cryin' all alone on the bedroom floor

and the only way to feed him is to
sleep with a man for a little bit of money
and his Daddy's gone

in and out of lock down

So, I am wondering, what would you do? Please change words such as man and daddy to suit your gender, etc.

I would go out and get a job, get off the drugs, sue the dad for child support. lol

i've been homeless before. i didnt have to do that.
its not being poor or homeless that makes you do desparate things its about drug addiction.

Try and get help from friends or somebody like an organization, it would really suck to be in that situation and have no one.

i would go to the food pantry
i would get off the rock, ick
wouldn't sell myself, ever, for there ARE ways to get money
i'd get a job at the local mcdonalds
i'd console my child and assure him that we're survivors and not to worry his pretty little head and to remind him tat even though it sucks right now, there are people who are worse off than us

"out of lock now" What's lock?

If I was smoking rock but not feeding my kid I would be too far gone. The kid should be taken away and the mother locked up.

Apply for welfare so I could support my child until I found a job. Go to the local shelter if necessary.
