For some reason the movie Black Sunday (with Bruce Dern) keeps coming to mind. Middle Eastern terrorists using the Goodyear Blimp to attack the stadium and shoot projectiles at the crowd. The movie came out 25 years ago (1977).

Actually, I do know what the Superbowl is - it's kind of like the FA Cup here (I think) but for US football not real football

I'm wondering (and please don't take this the wrong way) about you. You mentioned earlier that you've never been in a hotel and hardly out of town. However, if I were you, I would take the money for a TV, a VCR, computer and Internet bill (because I've noticed you've been on a lot) and GO somewhere.

I am on a lot because I'm on a free 45 day or 1000 hour AOL thingy. This isn't costing me a thing and when the free trial is over I'll go back to using the computers at the library for free as I was doing before. As for a tv and VCR, I've owned the same ones for years. The computer didn't cost us a penny, some friends of my son got new computers (IMacs) and gave us one of theirs. No offense taken.

All right. It's just I know a few people with a kind of similar story, and I've never been able to understand them. I just love to travel and go places! And for future reference, it's not my nature ever to outwardly offend anyone

I would love to travel someday, there are SO many places I would like to see, Australia, New Zealand, London, Ireland, Greece and many more. Well, maybe someday! I have never been offended by you, BTW!

The Ireland-Wales Six Nations rugby game today was great by the way: 54-10.

Oh, are those the teams that are playing? I saw everything I wanted to see concerning the superbowl already, the new Britney Spears pepsi commercial (what a waste of 200 million $$$!!!!) and the half time show. I liked last year's half time performance better.

It's 7:10 p.m. PST and the game is over on the West Coast. Final score, New England Patriots 20, St.Louis Rams 17.

I picked the Rams and lost.

Were there any really good commercials this year? Some of them are pretty funny.

The Pepsi one with recreations of jingles from the 1950's-2002 wasn't too bad even though it had Britney Spears in it, one for Lipton Brisk Iced tea was funny-it had Danny Devito, there was a new Bud commercial in the New Jersey how-ya-doing bar (but with a twist) plus previews for the new Austin Powers movie during the game, two previews for MIBII-one during post game and one during Malcolm in the Middle and a really cool preview for Spiderman during Malcolm. There were also some commercials for Subway (with Jared of course) and several new car commercials. That's all tht comes to mind.

I didn't encounter this until after the game. I thought St Louis would win. But I'm glad the Patriots did.
