I have to say that I find this survey intensely fascinating. ...no really! Actually, I'm hoping to unveil the new SC Nov 1st and this question is highly relevant as I'm deciding on what to put on the new main menu.
I generally do "this month's modified, by date" by the by, but then I also do "my own modified" once in a while (I figure it's my duty to monitor my old surveys). I'm no junkie though, I couldn't handle "all modified". | | steve | | posted 16-Oct-1998 4:06pm |
Mostly top 25, but occasionally (briefly) my own to check if there have been any new votes. I've never really used sorting by approval, since my own approval ratings probably have a negative correlation with averages. | | pandora | | posted 16-Oct-1998 5:32pm |

This month's modified, by approval. I'm enough of a junkie, though, that I'll slog through all the surveys anyway, even the low-rated ones. I suppose I should really do by date instead, so I can tell which of several related surveys on the same day came first (creation date doesn't do it). But I'm in denial, so I leave it on 'by approval'. Settings I occasionally use include 'my own'; 'all modified'; 'search' (before creating surveys), and 'category' (also before creating surveys, when (as in this case) the survey I'm creating clearly falls into a fairly lightly populated category).
