icurok	posted 11-Jan-2002 10:10am No, although I've had plenty of offers ranging from "Would you like to make love?" (spoken in a soft sultry voice) which I liked, to "Any business?" (said in a gruff smoker's voice) which was a little off putting. I just smile politely and keep on walking. Sometimes I'll give them the impression that I'm the kind of guy that wants to say yes except I'm too shy to say it. It's not that I'd ever say yes either, I just like the idea of them wasting their time on me (it's the same thing with door to door salesman and Jehovah's Witnesses).

Since then, I've known two people who had hired professional sex workers at one point or another and were pretty open about it. I still think it's too risky to bother with (oh yeah, and I'm -married-), but the idea of it was never as repulsive to me as the risks.

I live in a big city - if you're in any of the darker bits in the evening then you have a fair chance of someone trying to pick you up. A friend of mine was asked into a guy's car a few weeks ago just because she was stood in the wrong place.
