Leaps and Bounds, yuppie prekindergarten in San Francisco. Columbus skit. At three years old I made the perfect Indian princess. They spent tons of money on that. They made pilgrim outfits for all the little brats and even built a little wooden boat. They made us a teepee out of canvas and I loved my dress. I felt like Tiger Lily from "Peter Pan". Acting is not really my thing |

Yeah, more than once, in things for school and exracurricular activities. I thought it was really fun, but you do have to work hard sometimes. I'm going to be in the chorus for the school musical this year. |

Yes, in various school plays. I was in Oliver and Baboushka as main parts. I've also done backstage work. I love acting! But I've never got off my ass and joined a theatre group! |

Congratulations! What musical are you guys doing this year? |

I started writing, directing, and performing in plays when I was 11 years old. When I was 16 years old some friends and I had a TV show on public access television, (sort of like Wayne's World). So I did all kinds of stuff in front of and behind the camera. When I was 20 years old, I appeared in someone's student film. Throughout the 80s I did performance art.
I think it is a blast. I've been meaning to get up and perform in front of an audience again for quite a few years. I haven't got around to it yet. I've done karaoke a few times in the last ten years, but that is about it. |

Hello Dolly. I don't know much about it, but it looks like a lot of fun. I'm in the chorus and almost all of my friends are in the chorus too, seeing as we're all unconfident grades tens, so it'll be a lot of fun! |

Does a 6th grade play count?? |

High school plays aside, in '99, when I was doing stand up comedy in New York's "arty" Lower East Side, I was invited to perfom in "Toilet." "Toilet" was billed as "The Lower East Side's Longest-Running Sitcom." The premise was was that it was a live-action sitcom... but there was a toilet front and center of the stage at all times. Performance art, don't ask me. Anyhoo, I had about five lines. My character's name was Justina, and I was a man-stealer. Really simple dialoge. I had the hardest freakin' time. And these people took this SERIOUSLY. A couple hours before curtain on opening night, the director takes me aside and says, "I would like to you find someone to go over your lines with." Okay, did I mention that I had about five lines and the character was named JUSTINA?? Hell-o?? Shouldn't be hard, right? So anyway, it was really hard, and I get super mad when I hear people who have never even tried acting say that acting is really easy job. The weird thing is that I'm naturally a pretty "hammy" person. I like to joke around and put on different accents and do things that seem to lead people to believe that I would make a good actress. Nope. I suck. But I'm really happy I got a chance to try it. |

I can only count Amateur Dramatics. Does that count SC or did you mean professionaly. Anyway I did it for about 3 years and it was the most fun, very scary at times but all in all it was excellent. I miss doing it. |

It sounds like fun! There is great music in it, plus you get to wear those cool hats and stuff. |

Once as a child at school. I hated it, found it difficult to do, and will never do it again. |

Yes, If you count school plays when I was very much younger. I don't recall if I enjoyed them or not-it was far too many years ago to recall much, if any details. |

Once when I was 8, I got to be a sheep in our church Christmas play. Baaa. My mommy was so proud. |

Sadly, all I can recall is being a Sugar Plum Fairy at age 4 in our church's Nutcracker Suite adaptation. It was a liberal church, and it was a sort of dance-and-play free-for-all for the children, so I got to put on my prettiest, most filmy and lacy nighty, and prance around to the music. LOL I always wanted to be in drama in school, but frequent moving and difficult homelife always got in the way. Sigh... |

I was on the Acting Company in my Jr. High school. I LOVED it!! I wish I could act again but have no plans to. I was also on Stage Crew so not only did I preform but I got to help build the sets! |

I participated in Odyssey of the Mind in college and we performed skits as part of the competition. It was incredibly fun, but I think I really like the backstage stuff more than acting. I worked on props for high school plays, and that is great. Performing is really hard for me, but a good personal challenge |

I think its fun to act. I have acted in a few plays in the past, but I've since turned to music. However, there is a classic that I did, its this Doritos commercial me and this other guy filmed back in 8th grade. We seriously screwed up and got a 43% on it. I still have it on tape right here at my house. |

I swam with a manatee at the aquarium in front of an audience. It was an incredible experience and was on a local tv show. |
