One day is better. A short but passing bout of extreme pain cleanses the soul. |
| phi | | posted 22-Dec-2001 5:50pm |
Mm mm, endorphins. Where's the down side to one day of excruciating pain? |
| phi |
I seem to have hit a chord here... |

One day. Get it over with. Won't kill me. |
| confetti | | posted 22-Dec-2001 7:00pm |
One moment. Reminds me of why I titled my book so I hate the word mild. I only like it in the third HP book where JK describes Lupin as so |
everglow | | posted 22-Dec-2001 8:37pm |
i would choose to have quick and extremely excruciating pain. that is much easier to take than long cronic pain. YOU SLUT!!!! |
everglow |
just like how olive oil cleanses the body write. you fart and your insides go shooting out |
everglow | | (reply to phi) posted 22-Dec-2001 8:45pm |

I'd take the one day. No question. |
| lara | | posted 22-Dec-2001 10:42pm |
...but chances are you're going to get both at some point if you live long enough. |
jettles | | posted 22-Dec-2001 11:10pm |
if neither one was going to harm me in any other way except for that time of pain, i would pick the 24 hrs. if i would be harmed treendously...................... as well as the pain, i would pick the 2 years |
| Cleo | | posted 22-Dec-2001 11:57pm |
I day of excruciating pain,cause then it's over. |

One day of excruciating pain. Give me some Tylenol-3 while you're at it. |

Kind of...who were you talking to here: everglow i would choose to have quick and extremely excruciating pain. that is much easier to take than long cronic pain. YOU SLUT!!!! |

mild for two |

1 day. |
everglow | | (reply to Oscar) posted 23-Dec-2001 9:53pm |
oh. no! i was just talking in general. i amuse myself by saying things randomly. though strange its fun. besides i'm guessing by your name that your a guy. why would you be offended if i call you a slut? a girl i can understand but other than that i wouldn't think you would take offense |
| Oscar | | (reply to everglow) posted 23-Dec-2001 10:22pm |
I understand. I am a girl, but I didn't take offense...yet. |
| lerojist | | posted 24-Dec-2001 1:11am |
One day. If a woman can survive hard child labor for 8 or more hours, or a few hours of severe kidney stone pain, I think I could last for one day. I would hate to make the choice. |
Wicksy | | posted 24-Dec-2001 9:08am |
1 day and I would laugh it off!! Please let Twistermime afflict pain upon me!! |
| davethebrave371 | | posted 25-Dec-2001 6:04pm |
The pain is over after that one day, so one day sounds good to me. It builds character and all that jazz as well. Unless the pain was enough to kill you, then I'd say two years of mild, chronic pain. |
everglow | | (reply to Oscar) posted 25-Dec-2001 10:07pm |
Are you coming on to me? Jk. i am so freaking confused. if your a girl then why is your name oscar Mr. Weatherbee. i do declare it was Mr. Biggles, in the kitchen, with the cat food dish. DUH DUH DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AND SO THE PLOT THICKENS! |
| mandy | | (reply to Wicksy) posted 25-Dec-2001 11:12pm |
Don't tempt me! |
| Wendy | | posted 26-Dec-2001 7:57am |
I have dealt with a small pain for a few years before, so it's no biggie But I'm a baby, even if I could have, I wouldn't have traded it for a whole day of excruciating pain. |
| Oscar | | (reply to everglow) posted 26-Dec-2001 8:52am |
hey, Oscar doesn't have to be a male name. It is very feminine to me. lol |
| darkshadowsseeker | | posted 26-Dec-2001 3:05pm |
I already am used to mild chronic pain, so that would be my choice. |
| Wookiewoman | | posted 26-Dec-2001 5:24pm |
One day of horrible pain because you can keep in mind that it's only for 1 day and never again. If you choose mild pain for 2 years then you have to go to bed at night and dread waking up to pain EVERYDAY!! YUK!! |
| Dino | | posted 27-Dec-2001 7:19am |
get it over and done with |
| autumnlight | | posted 27-Dec-2001 12:21pm |
One day of excruciating pain, hopeful it will be so painful that you pass out so you can't feel it. |
everglow | | (reply to Oscar) posted 28-Dec-2001 2:44am |
yes i couldn't help but notice that when you say it it seems to roll of my toung in a feminine way |
| JoanneW123199 | | posted 30-Dec-2001 2:45pm |
one day with a lot of pain is much better that 2 years of a little pain |
| Biggles |
I agree! |

| Emmajoy |
What cheery options! I'll take the one hellacious day and then go on. |
| Cain |
I would choose one day of excruciating pain. I've had backproblems which have caused me to have mild pain everyday for years and I don't like it. I wish I could just bundle it all up and get it all over and done with in one day. |
| sweetpea |
Any woman who has a child can handle this! Pain for one day please... Besides, you have to have something to dog about that outdoes everybody else--- |
| yorricks |
I think I would prefer the one day of excruciating pain. Would it start immediately though? or would I have to anticipate it for 2 years? |
| natsim | | posted 2-Jan-2002 11:22pm |
I would rather get it over and done with. |
CarolL |
I think that it would be very tiring to have mild pain for two years. One day of character-building would be good for anybody! |
| Brony |
1 day, Then it's over with |
| ASexyBabesToy |
???????? |
| kevweck |
I live daily with pain and it really sucks... after time you almost forget about it... but what is worse is the few days that it doesn't hurt because then you really realize how bad it is |
| jb623 | | posted 6-Jan-2002 11:46am |
I hate pain and just the thought of it makes me cringe so excruciating pain is out of the question but I think I can deal w/ mild pain for 2 years. |
| Delirium |
One day of severe pain please. |
| CheshireKat |
It can't be anything so bad that I can't take OTC drugs to knock me out for the rest of the day. |
| mymy07 | | posted 12-Jan-2002 1:18pm |
I would rather experience the pain for one day than a little at a time for 2 years. |
Galomorro | | posted 13-Jan-2002 9:00pm |
Both are equally scary choices and I can't make up my mind.... |
| JoeSchmoe2003 | | posted 19-Jan-2002 7:01pm |

one day in a heartbeat |
| moet | | posted 23-Jan-2002 4:05am |
I have had 3 kids so I have had 3 days of excruciating pain and lots of years of mild pain so I guess I have picked both. |
