| confetti | posted 13-Dec-2001 10:07pm I just love "Only Time". Who can say where the road goes where the day flows only time and who can say if your love grows as your heart chose only time "A day without rain" is amazing. It sounds like somebody decided to make lullabies out of church hymns (with good lyrics). |
| jettles | posted 13-Dec-2001 10:33pm closer to fine, possession, and while my guitar gently weeps. |
| anoddoblivion | posted 14-Dec-2001 12:47am Independence day and 3 lil pigs. |
| Cleo | posted 14-Dec-2001 1:40am Sorry not my forte' I usually listen to Classic Rock & Oldies. I bet if my 16 year old daughter was to answer this survey she could check them all off. |
| Cleo | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 14-Dec-2001 1:44am Ummm Brian, just curious......Did George Harrison write " While My Guitar Gently Weeps? I love that song... |
| Dino | posted 14-Dec-2001 5:39am I wondered if this survey is only relevant to Americans but then I guess not if the Beatles are in it. (I havn't heard of any of them) |
| autumnlight | posted 14-Dec-2001 6:39am I have only ever heard Du Hast by Rammstein which is decent enough, and Only Time by Enya cos my step dad is a huge fan. |
| Oscar | posted 14-Dec-2001 9:41am Little pig little pig, let me in... I love that song. Have any of you heard the Irish Drinking Song by Buck O Nine. We'll drink and drink and drink and drink and FIGHT! |
| Zang | posted 14-Dec-2001 9:58am The only ones I know for sure are XTC and the Beatles. I may have heard some of the other ones without knowing it. |
| Zang | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 14-Dec-2001 10:01am Here's a little trivia question for you: "Who plays that blazin' guitar solo on While My Guitar Gently Weeps by The Beatles?" |
| icurok | posted 14-Dec-2001 11:24am Just "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "3 Little Pigs" |
| icurok | (reply to Zang) posted 14-Dec-2001 11:25am I know, I know!!! |
| jkiehart | posted 14-Dec-2001 11:43am Oh! I just saw the funny "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" last night, and I'm now a huge fan of the Soggy Bottom Boys! |
| Biggles | posted 14-Dec-2001 1:47pm None, as far as I'm aware. |
| kaleb777 | posted 14-Dec-2001 1:58pm I don't know unless I hear them. |
| Maarten | posted 14-Dec-2001 5:17pm Rammstein and Green Jelly. |
| Jemmy | posted 14-Dec-2001 8:25pm Amanda Marshall and (unfortunatley) Enya. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Jemmy) posted 14-Dec-2001 9:55pm What's wrong with Enya? |
| Zang | (reply to icurok) posted 14-Dec-2001 10:00pm Sh! The question wasn't for you. You're enthusiasm strongly encourages me to think you do know the answer. |
| justjulie | posted 14-Dec-2001 10:23pm man of constant sorrow ROCKS |
| Jemmy | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 15-Dec-2001 10:09am I don't like her music. |
| heyzeus1 | posted 15-Dec-2001 11:03am what? thats wierd i just downloaded that man of constant sorrow song the other day. i didn't ever expect anyone else to bring it up! jerry garcia did a version of it too. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to heyzeus1) posted 15-Dec-2001 1:05pm Are we sure we're talking about the same song? The one I put up is the one from O' Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack, and jerry garcia died years before that movie came out. |
| juliw | posted 15-Dec-2001 1:46pm Just the one by Enya and While My Guitar Gently Weeps |
| spidertea | posted 15-Dec-2001 5:46pm Du Hast by Rammstein. I saw them in concert. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Jemmy) posted 15-Dec-2001 6:48pm Well why? |
| heyzeus1 | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 15-Dec-2001 11:59pm jerry died just a few years back, but anyway that is an old song, and lots of people have done it. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 16-Dec-2001 11:01am What do you mean, why? I think it's bad! I hate that kind of music. |
| happyme | posted 16-Dec-2001 7:59pm I dunno, I've proably heard more of those than I recognize. feh. |
| Frostbrand | (reply to Jemmy) posted 16-Dec-2001 9:31pm That's really unfair. How cna you hate something so soothing and relaxing? That'd be like hating rain hitting the roof. |
| romkey | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 17-Dec-2001 2:39am that's a very nice way to put it |
| ASB | (reply to jkiehart) posted 17-Dec-2001 10:23am My dad loved that movie so much and the music he got the soundtrack. |
| Jemmy | (reply to Frostbrand) posted 17-Dec-2001 2:53pm I think your wrong. Music isn't about good or bad, it's about what sounds good to you, and your personal likes or dislikes. Just because it is relaxing to you doesn't mean it is relaxing to everyone else. Enya just isn't my kind of taste. |
| Missalee | posted 17-Dec-2001 7:36pm I've heard about three of them. Just asking though, why does this survey have an other button? |
| bandit1cat | posted 29-Jan-2002 8:00pm Never heard of any of them 'cept the Beatles one. I must be getting too old. |
