I eat at my desk/computer most of the time, but I also eat with friends at work and do Survey Central and whatnot. |

depending on if I brought my lunch with me, or my computer, or both, I will either eat quickly, and play games, or eat and read a book or go out and chat with some friends over lunch. that is usually best. |

um. where's the "cooking and eating my lunch" option? |
| Jody | | posted 15-Sep-1998 3:41pm |
I don't tend to take a lunch hour. I tend to take short, widely scattered breaks during the day which sometimes include food and often include SC and email. Sometimes I take a walk around lunchtime. If we had an exercise room here at work, I'd use that a few days a week during lunch. |

I watch television on television. I sometimes create monologues. I consider the tumor in my head - this head, right here - induced by the signal I have received from television. |

I often forget to have lunch and work through, even when I'm not especially busy... this has never struck me as a particularly good idea, though I do it anyway. |

I visit with my friends at work over lunch. We try to make it a policy NOT to discuss work related things at lunch. Of course, the boss is usually with us, and he is always bringing up work related things, which is frustrating. Sometimes I will run errands at lunch, but not very often. |

Um...I eat lunch. I take the amount of time it takes me to walk downstairs, order food, pay for it, consume it and walk back upstairs. This is usually about 20 minutes. While doing all of these steps that do not require interacting with others, I read. Usually books. During my boss's lunch hour (or three) I catch up on email and Survey Central. |

Some guys from work usually gang up and go to lunch. Often, however, one of them and myself will go for coffee at Mocha Java, which I prefer. |
