Hi all--Just stopping by to say hello. I know it's been a while. I pretty much stopped coming here after I got a disturbing message in my reply box. It was stupid, and just some troll, I know. But, it just made me sick and I just had to walk away for a while.
How've you all been? Any S.C. gossip I need to be filled in on??
I'm good..I see my brother, cb, already informed you all I'm pregnant again..that's my news for now..
Maybe I'll start checking in from time to time again...

Hey "moonstone"!
Welcome back!!
I dont miss you in fact, but I miss the baby you are hiding in your body
Congratulation!!!! I am glad for you a lot
the baby is "he" or "she"?
Look, we care here about pics, post some pics, post the X-ray images you take, and choose one of them to put it in your living room, it would be cute to put the X-ray image for your kid before his/her birth.
hmmmm, cb is your bro, weired..

Hey! I'm so glad to see you back. It's been a little lonely around here without you and Julie. Speaking of her, she needs to get her butt back here, too. Yes, your brother told us you were pregnant. Yay! When's it due? Is Ethan excited about becoming a big brother? I hope you stick your head in a little more often. But, I totally know what you mean about needing to step away. I've been there myself.
Not really any new SC gossip. At least none I should post here. | moonstone

Amanda and moonstone, most of us go into these "disturbing replies", I went through this from a year (R47) and right now too (some thinks that Arabs are barbarian, and as I am an Arab so..), but I always try to take it as it's nothing and i dont stop my happiness of being here with you, I just dont reply on what I dont like, and I continue my life normal here.
So dont leave your dear friends bec some of people dont want you there, you leave so they get what they want, no, stay and show them that you are not seeing them and you wasnt affected by their croud. | southernyankee

Oh, I think you mean "weeds". Yeah, its been a while. SC was troll free for X days. Perhaps we should do what power plants do, they brag by putting up a big sign that says "this power plant had not had an accident in ___ days".
As for what you missed, Maarten had plans on going to Vagas, and longhual just visted there last week, as it was on the way. He also had a messy break up and is back on the market (Irene made a point to take notice ). Long then started a thread for people to voice their opinion on Bush W, and verouge spent the last week convincing us that Israel and not Hezaballa are the real terrorists, though he didn't let the Hez off the hook either. And then I agrued with both sides as I normally do.
Interestinly, no flame wars were dedicated to Mel Gibson. We were too busy playing some helicopter game. | moonstone

Yes, got 2 names picked...
Mia for a girl
Aiden for a boy
Not sure on the middle names, yet. I find out in about 4 weeks if it's a boy or a girl. | judgescratch

Another good zucchini recipe. I like this one 'cause it uses a whole 3 cups! of zucchini.
Chocolate Chip Zucchini Cake
1/2 c butter
1/8 c oil
1 3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c milk
1 t vanilla
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
2 1/2 c flour
4 T cocoa
3 c grated zucchini
6 oz package chocolate chips
Cream together butter, oil, sugar. Beat in eggs. Add milk, vanilla. Sift together remaining dry ingredients and add to mixture. Stir in zucchini. Pour into greased and floured 9x13" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake at 325ºF for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Yummy that sounds good. I'm printing that one. | cabinfever
| | #33 posted August 25, 2006 at 3:00pm (EDT) |
I'm printing both... I should post a picture of my insane zucchini plants. And of the spagetti squash, Naguri squash, and both kinds of pumpkins. The Naguri squash invaded the fir tree at the corner of my garden, and is growing up in the branches. I tried to remove it, but there are too many tendrils wrapped around too many branches.... will just have to wait until it dies this fall after frost... if I'm even here. | moonstone

I don't know anyone with zucchini, or none has been offered to me anyway. If we lived closer I'd love to take some off your hands! There is a local farmer that we always buy corn and some other produce from every year, he always has good zucchini, I'll have to stop by sometime soon. | cabinfever

I have no idea where you are located, moonstone. My zucchini plants are putting out so fast I can't even give them away fast enough. Last year I shredded some and froze it, intending to make zucchini bread over the winter.... never got around to it. I should, but I'm trying to avoid breads and pasta right now. | moonstone
