I had a great birthday celebration this weekend! My sister took me out to the casino Friday night and we played Blackjack for hours -- it was a blast! I only lost a total of $5, which wasn't bad considering it had been years since I'd played and I'd forgotten a lot about the game. I came home to find a new cat on the front porch railing. Not a real cat, but a cool stone cat that Mandy got me to replace our cute little pig that had started falling apart. Saturday a package showed up from some very dear and thoughtful friends, and that totally made my day. Then that night I went to a another friend's house for her fabulous homemade lasagne and an evening of good food, Beer, and laughter. It's been a great birthday! Thanks everyone! |
