FINALLY!! Got myself a new & better job working at an Indian Casino & Resort making more money than Wal-Mart & loving my new found job.
My job entails sitting at a desk for 8 hours, answering phones & taking food & beverage orders for the "Pechanga Resort & Casino" hotel room service. The casino is around 2 or 3 years old & is 10 miles drive & 12 minutes from my home.
I start off at $9.60 an hour & get a reveue once a year. The perks are great.......CEPT employees AREN'T allowed to gamble, rent rooms, swim in the pool, exercise in the exercise room, drink alcohol or party at the roof top night club called "The Eagles Nest"
I hear it was pretty cool when the employees could party there when it first opened.....but no more. DARN!!!! Anyway, here's the link:

This is WAY better than putting up with the customers at Wal-Mart who dis the store & one's work. However, I really DO miss the many friends I made while working there. That was the ONLY good thing about work there.
BUT.......... THIS is SO much better than the "high blood pressure" job at Wal-Mart.
I am NOW a happy,happy camper.................................................

I really, really, really love my new job so much!!
I got tipped buy the servers yesterday, & they make BANK!!! One server averages around $25.00 an hour just on the tips alone! That's like $200.00 a day............................... I wanna be a server someday soon.
Gosh they make so much money working in the Casino! They say as soon as I learn the phones & the menus & the working of the kitchen (like 3 months or so) I could learn to be a server too. THAT'S where all the moneys at. .......Well THAT & in/on the Casino floor. The High rollers tip very well (I hear). Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know that I'm doing good & not to worry about me......I'll be alright now. Thanks You guys!!! ALOHA!!!!!!!! Yeah, I know. & sometimes it takes a LIFE time to find one that fits like a glove.....you know? So perfect in every way. I like the people I work with & the job is so laid back & just right for me. |
