I'm really confused. I was gone a week and I come back and all hell has broken loose.
Joe: I don't know you personally (a fact I thank God for everyday), but I do know that you are a real jerk. What gives you the right to come on here and be so rude and hateful toward people who are homosexuals? What has anybody on this site ever done to you? As far as I know, everybody treated you with respect, until YOU lost that respect. You have no right coming here and telling homosexuals that what they do or do not do it wrong. I'm not a homosexual, but your comments offend me. You say the in "real life" most people agree with you. I don't know who you've asked about this, but you haven't asked the right people. I, personally, do not give a damn what people do behind closed doors. I think it is their business and I do not have the right to judge. If homosexuals want to kiss on the sidewalk, who am I to stop them? You may think it is wrong for people to be homosexual, but who's to say that is fact? How to you know it's not wrong to be straight? Have you ever thought about that? I'm a Christian and I can't say if God defines being a homosexual as a sin or not. It is not clearly written. So, I guess I will not know until I am in Heaven. I know a lot of people on Survey Central are not Christian, I am not sure if you are or not. (As I try not to pay too much attention to what you say.) But, if you are, you know that God said we should love one another and we should treat others as we would want to be treated. You should really think about things before you say them. There is no problem speaking your mind. You and I do live in a free country. But, you take it to the extremes. And, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if you are truly a homosexual trying to cover that fact up. | JoeSchmoe2003

Stop with the homosexual covering it up theory! My reasons for being against homosexuality are: 1. It goes against the purpose of having two sexes, and 2. God forbids it. I am not a Christian, I am a non-Hadith Muslim. Anyone who says "God is Love" is mistaken. God loves us, but God also has established rules to be followed, and not being gay is one of them. And I happen to like girls, not guys.
Also, if people don't respect me, it's THEIR fault. They are the ones who chose not to respect me. In the end, it is a person's own decision who they do and don't respect, and if they don't respect me, I don't care. It's their fault, not mine.
And perhaps you should meet me in real life. You would see that I don't act like a jerk, in fact I am extremely happy, crazy, and laugh a lot. | Amanda

No, I don't think I should meet you in real life. I don't want to go to jail and I'm pretty sure that's where I'd end up if I ever met you in person.
How do you know God is against homosexuality? I doubt He's ever told you? Unless you are very special and He comes to you and talks to you. | Frostbrand

Anyone who says "God is Love" is mistaken.
I'm gonna swipe a line from the Afghanistan epsiode of South park. "God Cartman you are such an butt-hole." Repalce Cartman with JoeSchmuck...
Also, if people don't respect me, it's THEIR fault.
Um, no. You see, respect, love, hate, disturst, all these things are EARNED. While you have brought the latter two on yourself in spades (like a typical self-loathing homosexual who cannot quite jel the fact that the way he/she was born isn't consistent with his/her religous beleifs), the former two you have done nothing to earn.
Frankly, I think this drooling voer Bratney Spears is an act. If you aren't a closet case, you're an insecure male who is SO afraid of being seeing as un-masculine that you completely distort the idea of what it is to be a man! I bet you walk like a Hulk Hogan, Mr. T type, like you got fudgeed in the asss by a Rhino or soemthing and tlaking unintelligbly in this mock-macho voice. | kaleb777

Can you explain what a non-Hadith Muslim is? | JoeSchmoe2003

Don't take my words out of context. If you had read the explanation you would have realized that I said it is your fault, because in the end, YOU ALONE decide who you're going to respect. Therefore, if you don't respect me, it is entirely your decision not to respect me; I didn't make the decision for you, you made it all on your own. And how come you can't argue without turning it into insults? | JoeSchmoe2003

In Islam, there is the Qur'an, which every Muslim believes in. However, there is also a questionable doctrine known as the Hadith, which is supposedly how Muhammad lived his life. I reject the Hadith for a few reasons: 1-The Qur'an says to follow the Qur'an alone and not to follow other sources, 2-The Hadith was written 200 years after the death of Muhammad and cannot be accurate, 3-We are not supposed to live like Muhammad, we are supposed to live the way God told us to, 4-Copying Muhammad is not a good idea, he made mistakes also, as the Qur'an reports. The Hadith is the document responsible for the opression of women; the Qur'an on it's own is less oppresive to women than the Catholic church. Also, whereas the Hadith advocates forced conversions, the Qur'an says that there can be no compulsion in religion. Which brings me to my fifth reason for rejecting the Hadith: it contradicts the Qur'an. | Iwannaparty

I feel sorry for you Joe, I really do. I can't help but have pity for someone so pathetic with a one-track closed mind. You cannot hope to learn anything in life unless you are willing to open your heart and mind and accept people for how God made them. God didn't make you close-minded, you choose to be that way, but that's not the case with homosexuals. They aren't given a choice as to their sexual preference anymore than you had a choice as to whether you were born as a boy or girl. A You need to grow up and stop your hateful, unwanted behavior. Remember the Golden Rule and make a choice tolive your life that way because at this point from the conversations I have been reading, you are not. | Frostbrand

We could say the same about you, blaming everyone else for your shortcomings in the departments of compassion and tolerance. | lion

Tell me why you don't believe me. I believe Hadith-following Muslims are incorrect. I do not believe in the Hadith, and that is simple. |
