So, I'm not sure if I have the beginnings of the flu...or just a series of very unfortunate things all happening at once.
I went on a retreat this weekend as an adult for the middle schoolers. It was tons of fun. Well, Friday I was screaming and shouting a lot and I could tell by later that night that I was losing my voice. Then on Saturday we had freetime from 1-4. For about an hour I played football. For the other two hours, I played soccer. It's been almost exactly a year since I've played soccer..and even when I did play, I never play for two hours without stopping. So after I stop playing I'm exhausted and thirsty. No big.
Well, I wake up on Sunday morning and I can barely walk. I'm still thinking that it's not that big of a deal. It happens all the time when you do strenous activity for longer than you're used to...you're always sore the next day. So I'm just thinking I'm really sore..My legs, arms, stomach, and back are all sore.
I went to bed much earlier than I had because I was very tired. I noticed though that throughout the night my breathing was very labored and I had a sore throat.
When I woke up this morning moving was at least just as hard..if not harder than it had been. My eyes also hurt..but they've been hurting.
So I'm wondering what's wrong with me.
I'm wondering if I can't move because of the sports and my eyes hurt because of allergies.
Or if I can't move because I have the flu..which also explains the breathing and sore throat and the hurting eyes.
Or if my eyes were sore because of allergies and I couldn't move because of the exercise...but now I also have the flu.
What do you think is going on?
Here are some pictures, also:
My hands were covered in marshmallow..because for some reason I can't make a s'more..So I crawled through the hay maze..making my hand into a nasty marshmallowy-mess.
He was trying to make me laugh.
I just think this picture was hilarious. I was trying to attack the kid in yellow with the shaving cream I had on my hand...and apparently someone threw flour in my face.
Epic silly string battle. That's my arm.
I totally got him.

My daughter seems to have the same thing right now... She barely has a voice and a sore throat. I am not sure what is going on with her either but I am pushing her to keep going to school and to keep active.. I will let you know if any syptoms change... I think the major thing with the flu is a fever though. |

Forget the scotch. Horrible stuff. Jack Daniels is the answer. |

Maybe that flour in the face is making your eyes hurt. |
