It always seems to get a little slow around this time of year due to...fun in the sun I can only assume.
Today I pondered what to do next. One of which included laying around the pool on the hammock, but every friggin' lawnmower was out and about today. Plus it was a bit cool, so I decided to stay in and work. I will be planning, during my working inside hours, what to put on the grill next Wednesday. |

last night. Fireworks extravaganza! They kinda sucked, they have always been great in the past, but we couldn't see them from the beer garden anyway due to giant trees. The band was really good, they played rock from the 70's and I haven't danced like that since the 80's. So it was retro party night for me. Mary said I looked hot, so if that's the case than I know I didn't look like a creepy old person trying to dance out there. |

A bar on the pier means you dont have to catch any fish to toss em back |

"Water on the water and beer on the pier," is the public service announcement for no drinking and boating. |

I was looking for a 4th of July post, but since this one ended on my dancing at the park...I ended up on MySpace for the world to see. So, to save you all some time, here are two pictures of me. You should be able to see me, I've got the long sleeve blue with green shoulders dancing. The floor cleared off for my friend and I.
I swear I did not previously or after talk to the photographer. She figured the angles all on her own.

Twisted one up and opened a botle of wine. I'm losing the war on Japanese beetles, the significant leak in the pool, and Mary said she is giving up on the Koi pond because I guess I haven't made any headway on that project. I'm losing in the doing what I need to do rather than what the house needs, I'm losing the battle on making any money, maybe losing any and all forward motions in the relationship, and multi tasking is damn near impossible. I am losing the battle on eating better, the produce is very poor in town, having people here when I need them-not when it's their convenience, and losing the battle on the dog. I've been bit one too many times, I can hardly pet her without being so tense like I will have to dull away in a flash. I am currently refusing to take her to the groomer or the vet, my adrenals cannot take it at this time.
We'll see how I feel tomorrow after I drink to forget today.
I am however, not losing the battle on the lawn. Right now I am 57.85% ahead of it. And...I think I am still ahead of having a nice ass.
oh, the reason for the above...I sat in all these dillema's and made a plan, started in and I get a call an hour ago saying "hey I'm getting home early! How's about you stand in the kitchen for the next few hours and plan a feast! And I want to get in the pool so turn the heat on for me"
..aannndd there isn't enough water in the pool to pump because of the significant leak. How and why and fudging when did I sign up for all of this? |

This club sucks. Let me know when you're ready to start a new club that doesn't have all of that stress and I'll follow. |

Rainy day, bummer! I hate staying inside. I suppose I could do some much needed housework (yech). When its not raining I spend my whole day outside, puttering around creating garden masterpieces or cleaning the pool(which I might add, has not been swam in since we put it up, to cold). I heard August is supposed to be hot though. Now I'm going to force my self to clean house, it starting to smell a bit odd |

You're *SO* LUCKY!!! Los Angeles is DROUGHT Central. It's miserably hot and I'd give anything for a couple days of hard rain. |

Fire up the barbecue, and it will rain. That's how it works for us! |

Not here. Fire up anything here and you get fires that burn out of control for days and days. |
