Well, Obama isn't really a Muslim (if you want proof, kicking out the two women in headscarves out of his staged convention should be enough), I don't see where you got racist out from McCain and Hilliary isn't even in the race. Though they all have / had their share of flaws.
If it makes you feel any better, you're not picking between Bush and Kerry, or worse, Bush and Gore. | Melf

O'bama also spent many years in either Maylasia or Indonesia while growing up; I'm not sure I remember which. Both of these nations are both Muslim and anti-American. Plus, a terrorist could easily stage an incident to make himself appear better. I feel all the angst O'Bama experienced with his pastor was staged to demonstrate that O'Bama really was Christian.
Frankly, the only thing stopping me from supporting O'Bama is my inability to get more infomation about his background. At this point I just can't vote for someone named Baraq Hussein O'Bama; I'm, not saying that I categorically believe he is a sleeper terrorist by any strecth of the imagination. What I am saying is that there are significan questions about O'Bama's background, and that the information about those questions is not being made public.

Now, don't get me wrong, lots of people vote, but there is also probably a majority of people that can vote, that don't.
So, ya know what, if you don't vote, shut up. You have absolutely no right to complain about the state of the government.

Actually Indonesia is an ally of ours. And what evidence do you have to support this whole "staged" thing? Feelings aren't good enough. You can "feel" that global warming is being caused by Zeus pushing us towards the son because no one beleives in him anymore after all.

Nor can you spell his name right apaprently. Also, "Hussein" is an Arabic word that means "Handsome One." I see no reason why one docuehbag who's been dead for several years now (Saddam) should be allowed to ruin that anme for everyone. Of coruse, Americans are stupid about that kind of thing. There's a lawyer here in Denver named Mark Fuhrman. No relation to the cop whose private racism blew the O.J. case, but his life was made quite miserable during the years that trial was going on, just cause of the name.

How was it staged exactly? I mean really, for that to be true, it would require a man to ruin a 20+ year reputation, a Presidential candidate risking seemign "too radical" for independent voters, and all sorts of other things that no smart politician would want to happen during a campaign, especially one as close and as heated as the Democratic primary race was. | Irene007

The whole thing felt like a staged event to me; that's all I need. One does not need a doctoral thesis worth of empirical evidence to form an opinion.

You forgot the background check that allowed him to be a Senator, his IRS records, his DMV history, his Secret Service dossier, and a comprehensive periodical search that anyone can do. The sources you highlighted don't even scratch the surface. So what? The point is that none of this is real information. I want to hear from the people he befriended in Indonesia (or Malaysia) and Hawaii and other such information that publicity devices and government reports can't tell you.

Was this really necessary? Don't you ever make spelling errors? Haven't you grown beyond this 17-year-old, bewb for tat retorting. Don't you want to be a writer and a politician? Enough already, let the children on this site do that.

Whatever, the point wasn't the actual name so much as it represents a Muslim man of spurious origin. And before you call me a racist or whatever personal attack you feel coming...ask yourself if it's good idea to investigate little old Polish ladies from Brooklyn with the same avarice as young Muslim, male immigrants. Further, do bear in mind that I consider Barack Obama to be the only viable candidate and previously said so. My questions about Obama are the same questions that over 30% of current McCain supporters have.
Finally, Brian, if you really want to have an intelligent discourse, I would be more than happy to do so. But if you are going to continue with silly personal attacks or other childish jibs, you'll just be another troll to me.

So facts be damned then? Or even logic for that matter? How exactly would ties to an allegedly radical preacher (who preached for over 20 years yet gets judged by one 2 minute clip) help Obama win?

Hawaii is a U.S. state in case you forgot. But regardless you still offer nothing in the way of evidence or proof for any of your charges, and in the adult world, if you're going to accuse someone of something, it helps your case to have something other than "feelings" and e-mail smear campaigns to back it up.

I do yes. I make typos plenty of times. Though generally the typos involve a letter next to the one I intended to hit, and rarely have excess puncuation marks.

The only thing that bothers me about Obama (besides that whole being a typical polition thing) is that he wants to raise the minimum wage with inflation (which will cause MORE inflation, go figure), which I am not really in the mood to argue that point with Frosty right now, and he's also a bit leftwing on the government taking over the health care industry. My beef with McCain is that he's very likely to go to war with Iran, which will cost the taxpayers billions. But other than that, I am not really bothered by either of these guys. But in any case, whoever wins, I just hope they have enough sense to get rid of that Bernard (sp?) guy thats chairing the Federal reserve. | they

17 year olds do not argue like that. That's more along the lines of a 13 year old, trust me. We're more likely to just throw out inappropriate profanity. And trust me, if I could come up with something clever, I would..just to give you an example.
